In, "Season 3, Episode 14: Swan Song", after Jess comes to Emily's and Richard's house, got into a fight with Rory, then left. Rory ends up staying at Emily and Richard's house overnight. This one shot is about here asking Emily, if she could stay.

(No one's POV)
After Jess left, Emily and Rory sat to eat dinner, which was very good.
After a while, Rory, who hadn't said anything all the dinner, finally said, "Grandma, do you mind if I stay overnight here"?
"Sure, why"?
"Well, I kind of don't have any ride back home".
"Oh, sure, you can stay".
"Thanks", Rory said, turning back to finish her dinner.
After Rory and Emily finished diner, Rory was feeling tired, so she asked Emily if she can go up to the bedroom that Emily set up for Rory in her and Richard's house.
As Rory was starting upstairs with Emily, Emily suddenly turned around and said, "Rory you don't ever have to feel like you have to ask to stay here over night, you are always more then welcome always".
"Thanks Grandma, goodnight".
"Goodnight, Rory".
Rory went into her room, and crawled into the bed, and went to sleep as fast has she could, so the next day could come faster.
