~Author's Note~

In, "Season 4, Episode 22: Raincoats and Recipes" Jason comes by the Dragonfly, wanting to talk to Lorelai. She said that she didn't have time to him and that she wouldn't have time to talk to him until the weekend was over. Then he discredited her job, said it was horrible. Then on top of that he asked to speak with her supervisor. She just talks away. She could or should have told him that she was the boss, and that is exactly what he does in this one shot.

(No one's POV)

It's still the trial run of the opening of the Dragonfly Inn, Jason is there to try to get together with Lorelai. Lorelai just told him that she would have time to talk to him after the weekend, when things calm down.

"But, if we wait until after the weekend and when things calm down, then you might have a chance to talk yourself out of getting back together, for you know we belong together", Jason said, pleadingly. He know that the longer that had to think about getting back together, also he wasn't going to take that chance.

Lorelai looked him and frowned, "Well, first I would need to talk my self into it, before I talked myself out of doing it now, won't I", she said, not wanting to even think about it.

Jason sighed, and said, "Lorelai, I know that I made a mistake, telling you that I was suing your father was a bad idea", he said.

Lorelai scoffed, "Yeah, no kidding. It was a bad idea, actually the fact that you think the fact that you told me that you were suing my dad isn't the point. You shouldn't have even decided to sue my dad in first place", she said, upset that Jason thinks that's the reason why they broke up.

"Lorelai. I already told you I had no choice, not to sue your dad would have ruined my career. He took all the clients that we had, he took them all", she said, trying to reason with her.

Lorelai stopped him and put her hand up in the front of her to stop him from talking anymore.

"I don't care why, you know I can't date anyone who is suing my family. My family will be have torn apart because of this, and not that it isn't going to happen. Oh wait, it already has happened", Lorelai huffed.

Jason looked at her shocked, "Listen can we have a sit down conversation, once you have a break", he asked her.

"No", Lorelai said.

"You5 have a horrible job, never having a break. Maybe, I can talk to your supervisor to persuade them to let them to give you the break, so that we can talk".

Lorelai looks at him, and said, "well that's going to very hard, because you see, I am the boss. So now I have to talk away for you and get back to work", she said. Then she turned away and walked away, leaving Jason standing there looking, watching her walking away.
