In, "Season 3, Episode 22: Those are Strings, Pinocchio" while at the graduation, Emily asks where Christopher was, she sighs and says, "Oh, he's out of town. So she is not coming". She says, "Oh". This one-shot is about what Emily was thinking when Lorelai says that. I could only imagine. Hope you enjoy!! This is written in Emily's POV.

(Emily's POV)
As I'm sitting with Lorelai, Luke, Richard, Sookie, and Jackson I look around, and then I look at my daughter.
"Hey, where's Christopher. Shouldn't he be there"?, I ask.
"Yes. But no Mom. He's not here. He was told about it, but he was not coming, since he was going out of town", She said.
She had said it in a way, that made me not want to jump down her throat and question her about this.
So, I just kept quiet and I just said, "Oh".
I can't believe that he wouldn't come to his daughter's high school graduation. Maybe Lorelai was right, maybe he is not the man that I thought he was, and maybe that she was also right that he was not the right guy for her.
