~Author's Note~

In, "Season 2, Episode 19: Teach Me Tonight" Luke is trying to get Jess to be interested in any of his education. But, it doesn't work out very well. Well what if it continues and Jess mentions him working, and it escalates.

(No one's POV)

Luke was wanting for Jess to come back, he didn't to talk to him about the meeting with the principal. He needed to talk to him about what he was going to do, for his future. 

After a little while longer, Jess came strolling in without any care in the world. 

Luke stood up and said, demandingly, "Where have you been? Studying maybe"?!

Jess, turning around and staring at Luke, he said, "I was out, why would I be studying"?

"Maybe, you have a test coming up"? Luke said. 

"Jess sighed and said, "I just had me. What is this? Why are you giving me the third degree"?

Luke stared at him and said, "I just had a interesting conversation will your principal".

"Oh", Jess said, nonchalantly. 

He started to walk away from Luke, but Luke wasn't done talking, so Luke followed him, around the room. 

"He says you are flunking out Jess, what are you going to do"? Luke asked. 

"Will you relax?! I've got it under control", Jess said. 

"Oh, you do, do you"? Luke asked him, getting annoyed by Jess's indifference. "You have to think about this, you will be doing your junior year over again", Luke continued, trying to make Jess to understand. 

Jess rolled his eyes, and said, "So what?! So I could graduate and then become a manager at a diner"? He said, snidely. 

Luke glared at him, and said, "Just to make one thing clear, I just don't manage this place. I own it. How do you suspect that I did that"?

Jess just scuffed and shrugged. 

"By graduating from high school and working hard", Luke said. 

"Whatever. I will figure something out", Jess said. 

"When? How"? Luke questioned him. "You only half a month left. Actually, I have gotten Rory to tutor you".

"Seriously? I can handle my studies without Rory's help", Jess insisted. 

Luke sighed and said, "Well I have already asked her. And, she agreed. And, you are going to do this, and you are going to take it seriously and you are going to graduate".

Jess begruntled agreed and walked out the door. Luke sighed and went back down to the diner.
