~Jess Meets Emily~ (3x14)

~Author's Note~

In, "Season 3, Episode 14: Swan Song", Jess shows up to Friday Night Dinner late, with a black eye. FYI, I'm adding to what had happened, I'm not changing anything. I'm anti Jess, so if you are team Jess, you might want to skip over this part.

(No one's POV)

Rory has arrived at Emily and Richard's house for Friday Night Dinner already. Jess was supposed to be there 20 minutes ago, out he wasn't there yet.

"I'm sorry", grandma, that he is late", Rory said, anxiously.

"It's alright Rory, he's probably in traffic", Emily assured her. She knew why Rory was nervous about Jess not being there, but she was wondering what could've happened to him.

Suddenly Rory and Emily both heard the doorbell ring at the front of the house. "Finally he's here" Rory thought, as she was starting to wonder what he was.

Rory went to the door and opened it, and there she saw Jess outside the front door, with a black eye.

"What happened? How did you get a black eye"?

"Sorry, I'm late". Jess said, ignoring her question. 

"That's alright, Come on in".

"Grandma, this is Jess. Jess is my Grandma". Rory said, trying to keep up appearances, and didn't let Grandma to find out what was going on, because boy, she would have a field day with that.

"Nice to met you".

"You too".

Jess, Rory and Emily all sat down at the dining room table, and followed Jess outside, into the foyer.

"What's going on"? She asked him, following him out to the foyer.

"What your problem"?

"What do you mean"?

"Why are you so worried about how I got the black eye, I don't know why you are pressing this".

"I'm pressing this because you are not being honest with me, about how you got that black eye", Rory said, pushing because she thinks that Jess was having a fight with Dean that same day, and that's why he had that black eye now.

"I can't be here right now", Jess huffed, and walked out of the front door.

"Where did he go, go out to his car to get something? Will he be back"?

Rory looked at Emily with sad eyes, and said, "No Grandma, I don't think he is".

"He left"? She asked.

"Rory nodded her head, and said, "Yeah, he did".

Emily looked at her, then said, "Well, why do you and I have dinner without him".

Emily put her arm around Rory's shoulder, and they walked into the dining room to eat dinner".

Rory and Emily walked into the dining room and had their dinner.
