In, "Season 7, Episode 7: French Twist, Lorelai and Christopher got married in Paris. In, "Season 7, Episode 8: Introducing Lorelai Planetarium" , they finally tell Rory, who was not happy about it since she was not there to see it, and in "Season 7, Episode 9: Knit, people, Knit", anyone was at Friday Night Dinner and Emily reveals that Lorelai had called them, but left a message, and that she heard the message, and this one shot is about that. About her hearing the message.

Emily just came home from some errands that she had have to do, on this particular day.

She walks into the house, puts her bags away. She walks into the living room, and she notices that the light on her's and Richard's answering machine was on, so she sat on one of their sofas and listened to the message, and one was from Lorelai, which she was surprised about, since, Lorelai never calls her, unless there was something up.

Lorelai's message:

Hi, Mom, we just got home from Paris. Gigi is all settled, and she loves it. Paris was great and we ended up, just getting married.

Emily was shocked. She was happy for them, since she wanted them to be together, 22 years ago. They were finally getting along these last few months, with each other. She just wished that she would be there for her only daughter got married.

"Richard"!!, Emily yelled.

Richard heard her, and ran into the living room, and said to her. "What, Emily, what happened"?

"Lorelai and Christopher got married in Paris", Emily said, sadly.

"Well, that's great... wait, what? How? When?" Richard said. He first started off happy but then he was starting to not get so happy. He was a little upset. His daughter had gotten married. A father look forward to the day that he escorted her down the aisle. Not he may never to do it. "I can not believe it".
