~Author's Note~
In, "Season 4, Episode 22: Raincoats and Recipes", Jason Stiles comes to the inn to talk to Lorelai after their "breakup" (in "Season 4, Episode 19: Afterboom"), to get back together, his thinking that that they were taking a break from their relationship, but it was breakup. This is my version of the event.

(No one's POV)
Lorelai was scurrying around the Dragonfly Inn, trying to make sure everybody was having a good time or not. All of sudden, Lorelai looks up and was surprised to see Jason waiting for her. "What is Jason going here"?, she thought as she walked over to him.
"What in the world are you doing here"?
"We need to talk".
"Not now, no we don't", Lorelai said. She didn't went to talk to him especially when all those people where there for the run of the inn's twerks before they open to the public. She didn't want to have the conversation while everyone is at the Dragonfly.
"I only need a few minutes to talk you".
"I don't have a few minutes".
"When do you"?
"In two days", Lorelai said, thinking if she had said that she had to work for two days, without any break then maybe he would think twice about staying there and waiting for her to be done, so that they could talk.
"You must be able to take a few minutes to be able to talk to me".
"I will not be done for two days", Lorelai said.
"This is a horrible job. I would like to speak to your supervisor".
Lorelai just looked at him and said, "I am my own boss, and I don't want to talk to you, plus we have nothing to say to each other. We broke up Jason, and I have nothing else to say to you about it.
"I didn't think of it has us breaking up, I thought of is as we were taking a break".
Lorelai looked at him. She was very shocked and said, "What part of 'I can't be with someone who is suing my family', do you don't get"?
"But, I've dropped the lawsuit, and I miss you".
"Well you should have thought before you even considered suing my father".
"But I didn't", Jason shot back.
"Well, whether or not we are done. And it's time for you to leave", Lorelai said walking away.
Jason finally gave up and walked out of the inn.
