~Author's Note~
In "Season 6, Episode 2: Fight Face", the second episode of the sixth season, Rory finds out that Luke and Lorelai got engaged by Luke telling her. This is what happens if she finds out of the Stars Hallow Gazette and all people of Stars Hallow left messages on her phone.

(No one's POV)
Lorelai sitting at the breakfast table, when the front door bell rang, and there she found, when she opened the door, and saw no one was there, but on the welcome mat, she found the Stars Hallow Gazette with hers and Luke wedding announcement.
Lorelai Victoria Gilmore & Lucas Danes are to be wed
Oh, no, no, no. Lorelai panicked. She hadn't told Rory, since they were still not speaking to each other still. All Lorelai could think of was that Rory subscribed to the Stars Hallow Gazette so she probably seen it.
Lorelai panicking, ran over to the phone and Luke at the diner.
ring. ring. ring.
"Luke's diner", a cheery Luke answers the phone.
"Did you see? Did you see?" Lorelai gasped, still out of breath of running to the phone to call him.
"Did I see what?" Luke said, confused of what she was going on and on about.
"Luke, our wedding announcement is in the Stars Hallow Gazette". She said exasperatedly.
"Yes, I know" Luke said, not knowing what the issue was.
"Luke you don't get it but, Rory didn't know but I'm pretty sure she will know now".
"How?" he said. He didn't know that she was subscribed to the gazette.
"Rory subscribed to the Stars Hallow gazette, so she probably knows about it already".
"Oh, no", he said.

At the Gilmore's Mansion
(still no one's POV)
Rory is still asleep, when Emily Gilmore talks right in and wakes her up.
"Rory, dear" Emily said, shaking her to get up.
"Yes, Grandma I'm awake", Rory answered still groggy.
"Oh good, I brought your mail up for you".
"Thanks Grandma, I appreciate it".
Emily left.
Rory started to go though her mail, and was excited to see at the top of her mall stack was the Stars Hallow Gazette peeking out at the top.
Her excited face disappeared when she saw the front cover of it. That's right, she saw the announcement of her mom's and Luke's engagement, and she was hurt that she heard about it from some newspaper, and not by her mother.
All of the sudden, her phone lights up she walked over to it. Everyone in Stars Hallow left her messages, there was no message from her mother.
She spent all day, listening to every single one of her messages, there were a lot, hundreds. Everyone said the same thing.
"Rory, just wanted to let you know that your mom and Luke are engaged to be married, but I'm sure that you know already. Alright call me back".
Rory was fuming. She was hurt and angry at your mother, first about her non-support of Rory's decision to drop out of Yale and her not understanding, now on top of this her mom and Luke got engaged and Lorelai doesn't have the audacity to even bother to let her know, instead of the entire town calling her thinking that she already knows.
Everyone gave Rory their phone number in their messages to call them back, apparently Lorelai gave everything in Stars Hallow my phone number for something, if something would've happen.
"Great", Rory said to herself, "now I have to call all of these people back and act like know all along that I knew Mom and Luke are getting married.
