(No one's POV)
"Lorelai, I'm suing your father", Jason said, nonchalantly.
Lorelai looks at him shocked, "You what. You are doing what"?
"I have to Lorelai. Thanks to your father, I have no business, have no clients, all I have paper and pens, and the office space".
"So you start another business", She said. She was trying to get him to find another way without suing her father.
"I can't. This is what I have to do". He answered back.
"Jason you can't do this. If you do this I can't be with you, and I've have got to go".
"What. Lorelai, what"? Jason stuttered. He was very confused as to why she was making such a big deal out of this, he thought that since she had a rocky relationship with both of her parents, it wouldn't matter if they were still dating, while Jason was suing Richard.
"I can't be with someone who is suing my family", she said, adamantly.
"Like you have a great relationship with your family, other then Rory", Jason argued back. "Come on, Lorelai your Mom and Dad are separated now, what does it matter"?
Lorelai glared at him. He really didn't say that did he? "You just did not say that did you"?
Jason looked at her like, what was the big deal. "You did just say that, and you meant it too. I can't believe you would even make an suggestion like that".
"Why would you care if you parents were separated".
"Just because I don't have the best relationship with my parents, but that doesn't mean that I want them to be separated", Lorelai said.
"Well their separated and there's nothing that we can do about it, so we might as well still date".
Lorelai looks at him and is shocked about his attitude toward this. Does he not know what he did? "You know that you were a factor in the them separating right"?
Jason keeps staring at her. Did she really just say that she blamed him for her parents separating?
"What? How is it my fault"? he asked, perplexed.
Lorelai looked over and glared at him. Did he not know what he did? "You first, come to my father who disliked you because of your father trying to force him out. You proposition him to get him to become partners with you, you tell him that your motive is for going into business with you, just to piss-off his father. Then, my Mom goes out of her way to do all of this stuff for all things needed for a launch party for your new company. You announce that have already planned to have all of your clients at a party at Atlantic City. You didn't even consider all of the work that my Mom put into planning it, and for the matter that I was catering the party with my friend. You belittled her, planning these parties, it's her life, throwing those parties".
"But, I already apologized for that", Jason argued back, thinking that she was done, but she wasn't done putting him his place. Making him see that he was directly involved in their separation.
"Yes, you did apologize to me, but you never apologized to her. You then even offered to take me out to dinner even though you knew that that would be irritate my parents", she said.
"But, you did go out to dinner with me", Jason said.
"You already know that I did go to dinner you, but I only went out with you because I had a fight with my mother, and I wanted to get back at her. Then we go out to dinner and we go to that fancy restaurant but it's too fancy for me. Then we find a Taco Barn, I order, but then you said that you were not hungry, and that we should just call it a night".
"But we did eat. It was a nice night", Jason argued back.
"That's what you think. We had dinner at a supermarket. I did say it was a fun night but it wasn't, I was just being polite", Lorelai said. She didn't mean it, she actually enjoyed it she said this just to prove a point.
"Then I don't understand how the fact that your parents are separated, is my fault".
"It's your fault because you got him into using a computer, and doing things online, spending all of his time with you, instead of with my mother. He was supposed to be home more often and slowing down and not working all that much, but you kept him from her. Then your father, dropped the shoe, about his financial troubles, that he didn't tell my mother about".
"Well that's on him for not telling Emily about it. That's not on me. I didn't know that my father was going to say that".
"Well he wouldn't have had the chance if you and my Dad were in business together, because he wouldn't have initiated having dinner with your mother, you and me, and my parents along with Rory, because you would be still working for your father. We are finished Jason. Goodbye", Lorelai said, standing up and walking out of the coffee shop.
END OF ONE SHOT!!!

By reading this you might take the hint that I really didn't like Jason. Maybe I'm not accurate in Lorelai's behavior toward her parents, but Jason is not taking no (breaking up with Lorelai) for an answer, so I had to make something up. And I also I truly think that Jason's involvement in Richard's business strained Richard's and Emily's marriage. Of course, Richard's lunches with Pennilyn Lott didn't help, without Emily knowing about it, added to it.
