~Author's Note~
In, "Season 4, Episode 1: Ballrooms and Biscotti" Rory realizes that she has to be at Yale a week earlier then has they remembered. So, Rory ended up having run around along with Lorelai to get all of the things that she needs but Rory and Lorelai can't both go to Friday Night dinner so Rory just went.
When she got there Emily asked where Lorelai was, Rory just said that Lorelai had some errands to run. This one shot is about a possible continuation of what Rory could have said, the reason of the last minute errands that Lorelai had to make. This is written in No one's POV. Hope you enjoy!

(No one's POV)
"She will not be coming tonight", Rory said, hesitantly looking at Emily.
"Oh, she didn't"? She asked, surprised.
"No, she has errands", Rory said.
"Errands"? Emily asked.
"Yes, she had errands. I leave for Yale tomorrow and she had to get stuff for me", Rory said, trying to calm her down, as she noticed the displeasure of her Grandma.
"Well, why aren't you with her", Emily said.
"Because I made a promise to come here every Friday night and I keep my promise", Rory said.
Emily smiled at Rory and said, "Well, I guess it's okay. I am sure she will be here next week".
"Yes", Rory said. "I'm sure she will be here next week".
Emily walked away and Rory followed. Hopefully the rest of the night goes smoothly.
