Now I know that this never happened in the show, but I thought it was necessary to write this. This takes place in "Season 7, Episode 15: I'm a Kayak, Hear Me Roar", what if Lorelai comes to Logan's apartment to tell Rory that Lorelai and Christopher have split up, and they talk about how he keeps on leaving when they think that he is finally going to stay to be with Lorelai, and finally be a dud to Rory.

After Rory give Logan his birthday breakfast. There's a knock on the door and Rory goes to front door. She was surprised, when she opened it, surprised to see Lorelai standing there. "Mom, what are you doing here"? She asked her.
"I need to tell you something. Can I come in"?
"Sure".
"Hi Logan".
"Hi, Lorelai".
Rory and Lorelai both sat down on Logan's sofa. "So what's going on Mom"?
"Well, your father and I split up last night", Lorelai said. "Well, sweets, I better go, happy birthday Logan", Lorelai said, walking to Logan's front door.
"Mom, you sure you don't want to stay for a little while"? Rory said. She was very wanted about Lorelai.
"No, honey, I should be getting on home".
"Okay, bye".
Rory closes the door and looked at Logan, "You okay", he asked.
"I don't now how I feel", Rory said.
Logan didn't understand. "What's going on".
"I'm sad that if didn't work out between my mom and dad, but on this other hand, I'm not that surprised it didn't work out between them".
Logan hugged Rory. "I know I'm sorry".
"And I am not that surprised, my Dad never stayed really long enough to be my dad, he tries, but...".
"I'm sorry".
"Thanks".
