"Gilmore Girls" (One Shots)

~Author's Note~

In, "Season 1, Episode 20: P.S. I Lo...", Rory has that big fight with Lorelai and she escapes to Emily and Richard's house, because she couldn't deal with the town feeling sorry about her and Dean breaking up. (This makes her question her relationship with Lorelai).

(No one's POV)

"I'll see you at home". Lorelai yelled back to Rory, who was talking away from her.

"Don't count on it", Rory shot right back to her as she walked in the opposite direction from Lorelai.

As Rory walked back to her and Lorelai's house, she was getting angrier by the minute first she fins that Lorelai and Max were back together, from Max (Lorelai didn't even brother to tell her. He mother and her had a "sharing everything" relationship, and this makes her, to question that relationship now. Plus, when she keeps things from me, it's apparently okay for her to do that, but when Rory didn't tell Lorelai anything that has happened, keeping things from her is because what the reason is, Lorelai is upset that Rory hid it from her. What's the point of having a close daughter/mother relationship if it is all one-sided, she thought as she walked home, as fast as she could.

When she got home, she looked to see if there were messages from anyone. There were a lot of them, all from people that knew about the breakup and reaching out to Rory for sympathy. All of a sudden, she bolted out of the house. She couldn't stand it anymore, she was hurt, and mad at Dean, for just breaking up with her just because she didn't stay "I love you" back. She called a cab and when the cab came, she said, "take me to Hartford". She was going to Emily and Richard's house for the night, because she was so mad at Lorelai that she couldn't even look at her in the eye.

- In front of Emily and Richard's house -

Rory drove up in a cab to Emily and Richard's house, then she told the cab that Richard would pay to cab payment, and rang the doorbell.

Emily opened the door, and said, "Rory what are you going here".

"Can I come in"?

"Oh course, you can", Emily said. She was confused so to why Rory was there. Then Rory looked at Emily, and her heart sank a little. "Oh, you were about to go out, I'm sorry I should have called".

"It's alright Rory".

Emily and Richard directed Rory in the living room, "did everything happen Rory"? Emily asked her.

"Had a fight with Mom, and I couldn't deal with her right that minute, or anytime soon, probably not at all tonight".

"Alright, then, you will stay here tonight, and I will make sure the bed up in the room that we made up special for you upstairs", Richard said, as he started going toward the stairs to go upstairs.

"Sorry for not calling first", Rory said.

Emily smiled her, "you never have to apologize for coming here Rory".

Both grandmother and granddaughter, both, looked at each other and smiled.
