In the episode, "Season 5, Episode 13: Wedding Bell Blues" at Emily and Richard's vow renewal,
Christopher tries to get Lorelai back, but what he doesn't realize is that he is too late.

(No one's POV)

"I'm with Lorelai", Luke said.

"For now", Christopher spatted back.

"What?", Luke said, confused, he didn't know what Christopher was going on about. Christopher was hardly even there for Lorelai and Rory and now he shows up and acts like he was always there for them.

"Lorelai and I belong together, I know it, Emily knows it, you being with her is only temporarily one day she's going to realize that she belongs to me and that we both are still in love with each other".

Luke turned to look at Lorelai, who was standing right next to him, and she said "Luke, I don't knew what he's talking about". Luke, not being able to say in the room said, "I have to go and get out of here".

Lorelai started going out to catch Luke before Christopher stopped her and started talking to her.

"Look I'm sorry how this happen, I did not want this to happen I wanted to get you alone and talk to you".

"I don't care, Christopher", Lorelai said, very angry at him and her mother.

"Look, Lore, I know I asked you wait for me to go up and you did so that and I didn't wait, but your mother told me that it wasn't too late, it can't be too late".

"Actually, Christopher, I'm going to say something and I want to make myself very clear, we are done, I never want to talk to you or see you ever again, Luke and I are together he was always there for Rory, while you weren't".

"Emily said that it wasn't too late thought!"

"I don't care". Lorelai said, starting to tear up.

"Now, after what you did he may never want to talk to me again, and it's your fault".

"Now, I'm going to find Luke, and talk to him, just go get coffee Christopher". Lorelai said, walking out of the room.

Lorelai walks out, ready to leave, but the photographer choose at that time to go get her, for picture to be taken.

The photographer put her right next to her mom for the pictures, she leaned over and goes right over her mother ear and said, "You and me we're done". After the pictures taken Lorelai grabs her sequence jacket and started to leave.

"Mom, wait, you're leaving" Rory said, chasing after her.

"Yeah, I am. This party so over". Lorelai said, know it's not over but she just wanted to get out of there.

"Are we okay from before", Rory said, concerned but getting caught in a dressing room with Logan.

"Yeah, of course, we are okay".

"What's going on with you and Grandma", Rory said.

"Oh, I will you later, honey", Lorelai said, not waiting to ruin the night for her. She didn't want Rory to know that Grandma, Emily, send Christopher to ruin Lorelai relationship with Luke.

"Look, I'm going to go and find Luke, you go back to the party, make the best of it".

"Okay, bye". Rory says, turning around to go back to the party, feeling as though her mom was not telling her something.

"Oh, and Rory", Lorelai called after her.

"Yeah".

"Make sure that Dad gets coffee, he had one too many, tonight".

"Sure", she said. "Great can't wait to witness that". Rory muttered, not wanting to associate with him now.
