~Author's Note~

This is the third installment of this series, that follows, "I heard everything" (1) and "I don't know why we came here" (2). Hope you enjoy!!! This will take place at the Dragonfly Inn, but first a little recap.

*Recap*

She, then turned around then walked out of the house. Lorelai was left, just standing there. Of, now she's done it.

(No one's POV)

As soon as Rory went outside she stands fuming on her porch. How could her mother do this, she asks herself. Then Logan came up to her, and touched her arm.

Rory, noticed him, sighed and turned around, and stared up at him. She looked at him with apologetic look on her face and said, "I'm so sorry. I had no idea she would be like that".

Logan smiled understandingly, and said, "It's okay. Do you want to go back to my apartment, or do you want to stay"?

Rory turned and said, "I want to stay, but I don't went to stay here. Maybe we can go to the Independence Inn for the night. We could, if you wanted to".

Logan nodded and said, "Okay, we can stay. Then, maybe tomorrow after you have gotten some sleep, you can maybe have a conversation with your mother"? Even though Lorelai had attacked him, and his level of responsibility to life and his relationship with Rory, but he didn't want them to stop talking, but his thoughts were interrupted by Rory's voice.

"No, Logan", she said. "She did this, and she knows how I feel about you, and she went behind my back and she talked to you about you being irresponsible for me, to be with. What am I supposed to think. So, I don't think".

"Okay, well let's go to the Dragonfly Inn, and get some sleep", Logan said, he dropped his arm around her waist and together they walked to his car, and together they drove to the Dragonfly Inn.
