~Email from Christopher?~ (5x15)

~Author's Note~

This one shot is about the dinner scene that Lorelai and Rory as at Yale, in the cafeteria, in "Season 5, Episode 15: Jews and Chinese Food". This is when Rory tells Lorelai that Christopher sent her two weeks after the disaster at Emily and Richard vow renewal.

(Lorelai's POV)

I'm at Yale having dinner with Rory. We are having a good time. All of a sudden Rory starting to act kind of fidgety.

"What's wrong". I ask, hoping everything is going okay.

"I got an email from Dad", she said.

"Oh, so what did he say", I ask. Curious to find out what he had to say. 

"He said that it was all a misunderstanding".  She had to say.

"What??" 

"He said that the only reason why he come was to celebrate Grandpa and Grandma's vow renewal".

"Oh, and when did he send the email", I ask.

"Monday, this week".

"Okay two weeks after the facts".

"I think he was nervous about contacting us after what happened".

"Yeah, probably".

I couldn't believe Christopher. That little stunt he pulled at the vow renewal, and then he waits two weeks to contact Rory, not me, and then saying that the whole fiasco was a misunderstanding. It was even because of him that Luke broke up with me.

"Have you wrote him back, yet" I ask.

"No, I don't know what to say to him, plus I'm still mad at him for running your relationship with Luke".

"You don't have to be mad at him because of me", I said. I don't want Rory not to have to a relationship with Christopher just because I'm not talking to him.

"Mom, I'm not talking or emailing back to him, not because of you, it's my own choice", I told you, that there was a reason why I told Dad to stay away from you I know that he screws everything and I thought why could it be any different when you were with Luke and I was right".

"I know, and didn't listen to you".

"One day I will email him back and talk to him but just now, I'm not happy with him".

After we finished talking and finished eating I was going to go home. She asked me if I wanted to stay over the night and watch a movie. I tell you no, that should be going back to Stars Hallow, plus if Paris and Doyle is still there I don't want to be around them, since they started "seeing" each other.
