In, "Season 3, Episode 22: Those Are Strings, Pinocchio" at Rory's graduation Rory revealed to Lorelai that she and Sookie can open their inn, and then Sookie asked Lorelai how they could buy and how Rory could go to Yale. Lorelai sighes and says that she would tell her later. Now, we don't know if this conversation ever came about. Well, that its what this one-shot is about. Hope you enjoy!!!

(No one's POV)
After Rory's graduation party, while people were cleaning up, Sookie comes up to Lorelai from behind her and grabbed her arm and pulled her to the side.
"Sookie, what's going on? What's going on"? Lorelai said, exaggerated.
"Tell me. What happened"?, Sookie asked her. She can't believe that Lorelai acts like she has no idea what was going on.
"Oh. Yeah. Well turns out my parents are paying for Rory to go to Yale. So, now we have the money ", Lorelai said.
"Well?! How do you feel about that"? Sookie asked.
Lorelai sighed, "Well you know I'm not exactly happy about it, but she thinks that it is the only way so that she can go to Yale. Also, what makes it great is that I'm not on the hook for Friday Night Dinners anymore".
"Well, I guess it all worked out", Sookie replied.
"Yeah, I guess it did".
