~Author's Note~
This is the second installment of the one-shot, entitled, "Sherry in labor Dad... (1)". In this one-shot part part, Christopher had just told Rory that he couldn't be there for the birth of Gigi, this is basically about her reaction. Hope you enjoy!!!

She sighed, and said, "Sherry's in labor, Dad. You need to leave wherever you are, and came to Boston Memorial, to be there with her".
Christopher sighed, and says, "Rory, listen. I'm not going to be able to make it".

(No one's POV)
There was silence on the other end of the phone. Rory was shocked. How could he not show up for Gigi being born.
After a few moments of silence Rory started talking, "You... your not coming"?, she stuttered. "Why, aren't you? Where are you, that you can't be there?! You are in San Antonio? Well I don't care how you get here, just get here", she insisted.
"I'm right in the middle of a meeting now, Kiddo. I only stepped out to answer your call", he said.
She sighed, "Of course, you were in a meeting and also out of town. You are always gone", she said, trying not to get even more angry then she was when he said that he couldn't be there, since he was out of town.
"Rory!? You know that I have job, and that I have travel for it. Please understand that", Christopher said, exasperated.
"Yeah, Dad. I do understand. You care more about your job then you do your family, or you would be here", Rory said.
"Rory...", Christopher started to say, but Rory didn't give a chance to explain, she said, "your fiancee, the woman that you apparently claim to love her, but you can't even leave a meeting and get to the hospital to be with her when she is having the baby, which makes me wonder what you did to make her say yes to you, when you asked her to marry you", she said.
"I will go back to Sherry, and help her deliver the baby, but I was hoping that you would find time in your busy schedule to help out the only daughter you currently have, when she needs your help", Rory said, then she hung up the phone.
