~Author's Note~
In, "Season 4, Episode 1: Ballrooms and Biscotti" Rory finds out that she has to be at Yale in a day in a half later then having a week, to do anything on their list. But, it was too much to do. This is what this one-shot is about that moment. This will be written in No one's POV. Hope you enjoy reading this!

(No one's POV)
Rory and Lorelai is walking down Main Street early in the morning, and they were getting started on their list.
After a little while Lorelai looked at Rory, Rory nodded in agreement. They both sat down and looked at each other.
"Phew. I'm exhausted", Lorelai said.
"Me too", Rory chimed.
Lorelai looked down at her and said, "And, we are not even halfway done yet, and we can't spend all day with this. We have cut some of this stuff".
"No, Mom. I need all of this stuff", Rory exclaimed.
Lorelai sighed and nodded. "Then I don't know what we are going to do. We have too much to do".
"Plus we have to go to Friday Night Dinner", Rory said. "At least I have to".
Lorelai groaned. She didn't really want to go. But she knew that she had too, but then she said, "What do you mean, at least you have to"?
Rory sighed and said, "When I went over to grandma's and asked about them paying for Yale. I said that I would come for dinner on Friday nights, me, not you and me".
Lorelai smiled and said, "That's right. I don't have to go to dinner, ever again".
"Mom".
"No, I mean. That I'm not obligated to go to dinner every Friday night, if I don't want to", Lorelai said.
Rory and Lorelai went on their way, Rory thinking about how angry grandma will probably be if Lorelai didn't come to dinner. Lorelai is ecstatic, and happy that she didn't have to drag yourself to her parents house every Friday night and get into a fight and feeling less then and to feel bad about herself.
