~Author's Note~

In, "Season 5, Episode 13: Wedding Bell Blues" at Richard and Emily's vow renewal Christopher, comes because of Emily's invitation and then Luke and Christopher get into a fight. Luke's argument is that he's more of a father to Rory then Christopher was Lorelai kicks Christopher out, and storms off.

Well, what if Christopher puts it to the test. By asking Rory, will it go in Christopher's favor? Or, will it turn into a big argument between father and daughter?! Well, you will just have to real to find out. Hope you enjoy reading this! This will be written in No one's POV.

(No one's POV)

"I'm her father", Christopher argued back.

"Oh really, then where were you when Rory graduated from Chilton? On her birthday? When she gave her many speeches, had birthdays and when she was sick"? Luke said.

"Why does it matter where I was? I wasn't there", Christopher argued. 

"You're right, you were not. I was", Luke said. "I did it all, because I care about those girls", Luke said, getting heated. He can't even believe he is even having this fight with him. 

"And, I don't"? Christopher fires back.

"Well you haven't been here. So, how would they know that you care about them. If you are not here", Luke argues back. 

In the middle of them fighting, they were interrupted by Rory. She noticed that they were arguing and things were getting intense.

"Dad, Luke. Stop", Rory exclaimed.

Christopher turned to her and said, "Rory! Maybe you can stop this and put this situation to rest. Who has been the most there for you and your mom"?!

Rory just stares at them. She can't believe they are even having this fight.

"You have got to be kidding me, Dad. You are really asking me that"?

"Yes, Rory. I want to know who has been there the most for you me or Luke"? Christopher asked.

"It's Luke Dad, obviously. He has been here when Mom and I have needed him", Rory said. "As for you, Dad. You made promises that I know you probably mean at first, but then you don't show up or you expect Mom to wait for you to get yourself to get it together, so you and her can be together, but then you move on and meet someone else, then you are mad when Mom gets with someone. So I suggest that you go".

Christopher looks desperate between Luke and Rory. He looks at Rory, and says, pointing at Luke, "What is so appealing about this guy"?

Rory stares at him and sighs, "Dad. What is so appealing about this guy, is that he is always there for me and Mom. He is there for me all the time, while you are not there for us".

Christopher finally defeated walked away from both Luke and Rory. "I love you, Rory".

"Oh really, well you have a weird way of showing Dad", Rory yelled back at him, as he walked away from them.

Rory turned back to look at Luke. "You okay"? She asked. "I'm sorry about him. He was just drunk and he shouldn't have said anything like that".

Luke sighed and said, "It's okay, Rory. Sorry you were brought into this".

"Yeah, it's not your fault. Oh, by the way that everything that I said was true", Rory said, smiling sadly at him.

Luke smiled at her, and said, "Thanks Rory, now let's go find Mom".

Rory and Luke hugged together and walked back to the party together.

Now, I know what you are probably mad that I put Rory in this situation, but maybe it will finally make Christopher realize that they are independent women who think for themselves and that he should be thankful that they have someone who cares about them (since Christopher seems like he can't be bothered).
