~Author's Note~

In, "Season 3, Episode 17: A Tale of Poes and Fire", "Season 4, Episode 22: Raincoats and Recipes", and "Season 5, Episode 1: Say Goodbye to Daisy Miller", and also, "Season 6, Episode 17: I'm Ok, You're Ok". The Gilmore Girls (Rory and Lorelai) are all about the pros and cons lists for any of their big life decision, or most important decisions that they made, but I don't remember them doing that they made, but I don't remember then doing that when they broke up/get back together. So here is my version of what would be on those Pro & Con lists. Starting with Rory's relationships first.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Dean Forrester

*Pros*

- He was a good first boyfriend.

- He really loved her, no matter if she was different then him.

*Cons*

- He broke up with her, when she had perpetuate Dean's words, of saying "I love you, too", after he said it to her.

- He married someone he didn't really love, just to prove that he was over Rory, and that he needed to get married to a women that he didn't really care about.

- He practically openly broke up with her twice. (Once in "Season 3, Episode 7: They Shoot Gilmore, Don't They" and "Season 5, Episode 8: The Party's Over"), he did it not only publicly, but he did it in front of first, everyone in Stars Hollow. Then the second time he did it in front of Emily and Richard's house in front of Logan and his friends.

- The biggest one: Emily and Richard didn't approve of him.

- He didn't really have a plan to go to college, if he was going, he would go to community college, when Rory had this extravagant plan to at their point: was going to Harvard (Revealed in "Season 2, Episode 1: Sadie, Sadie..."). I think this might have been an issue, that he might have some insecurity about being with someone that is not getting an ivy league education.

- It was his good idea that he and Rory cheat together, and then when it was exposed and everyone knew of the affair. Dean instead of owning up to what he did, he ended up trying to blame Rory for it.

Jess Mariano

*Pros*

- He was interested in the same type of things that Rory was.

- They liked the same books.

- He was very supportive about her going to Harvard, and he didn't feel insecure. (Or just didn't show it).

*Cons*

- He made Rory lie to Lorelai.

- He lied to her about going to school.

- He pretended to like all the things that Rory was interested in, like the festivals in Stars Hollow, everything that Rory loves, just so she would choose to be with him, but then when she did choose him he didn't want to do those things anymore.

- He left town without really saying goodbye.

- He kept on calling Rory and then when she finally answered, he would immediately hang up the phone.

- He said "I love you" to Rory, and then just walked away from her, without waiting for her to say anything.

- He shows up at her doom, tells her that she should go away with him to New York. Then when she tells him "no", he doesn't except that answer, he claims he knows her and that he truly thinks that she really wants this.

*Huge Red Flag*

- Emily also, did not approve of him.

Logan Huntzberger

*Pros*

- He was the only person Rory had dated that Richard and Emily actually approve of.

- He tried to be a good boyfriend, which he did his best (Rory was just first real girlfriend).

- He knew how to surprise her romantically.

- He had connections in the newspaper/journalism industry.

- Honor, Logan's sister liked her.

- He drops everything to be there at the hospital with Rory, with Richard was in the hospital with the aftermath of his heart attack. (in "Season 7, Episode 13: I'd Rather Be in Philadelphia").

- He was willing to try to be her boyfriend, even though he wasn't the type to have a steady girlfriend.

*Cons*

- He did cheat on Rory with a lot of Honor's bridesmaids. (He did think that he and Rory had broken up however).

- His parents did not approve of Rory and his relationship.

- Instead of talking to Rory about his business ventures, he went to Vegas with Colin and Finn and gambled. He could he have talked to Rory about his troubles.
