~Author's Note~

In "Season 3, Episode 2: Haunted Leg", Rory and Christopher has their first big confrontation, and then she runs upstairs of Richard and Emily's house. After Christopher and Lorelai fight for a couple of minutes, Christopher telling Lorelai he doesn't deserve her treatment of him, finally Emily asked for him to leave and he left reluctantly. Lorelai goes outside after telling Christopher to give it time before he tries to contact her and Rory again, and then when she does back inside, she says "thanks" to Emily and then she ruins that nice moment between them (which is rare) by saying something else. This is what should she could have said.

(No one's POV)

Lorelai comes back inside, after watching Christopher ride away on his motorcycle. 

"Thank you Mom", turning to Emily. Emily smiled, "Your welcome". Even though that Emily liked Christopher and felt that it was an important thing for Christopher to be with Lorelai and Rory, but Christopher had chosen to be with another person and now Sherry is pregnant and Lorelai wasn't going to do anything about it. 

That idea changed when Rory yelled at him, "Go be someone else's Dad", she had heard the whole thing. Then after Rory had ran upstairs Christopher and Lorelai had continued to fight about Christopher being pushed out of Rory's life by Lorelai, and Lorelai saying that is was his fault for not being there for her, at his own choice. Finally she thought that she had to step in, so she asked him to leave, immediately. 

"Your welcome", she said.

"I'm going to go up and see if Rory's alright", Lorelai said, turning to walk up the stairs. Before she started up the stairs, she turns around and says, "Mom, don't ever call Christopher again", and then she turned around and then went up the rest of the stairs.
