You were fighting the Oni side by side with Ethan, Derek, and your boyfriend Aiden.
Suddenly, an Oni was coming right for you, sword in hand. Aiden quickly jumped in front of you, taking the sword to the heart instead.
"NO!" You screamed as Aiden fell into your arms. You kept him propped up, but blood was spilling from his mouth. "Aiden." You cried.
"I love you, I never told you before."
"I love you too. Not a day will go by that I won't think of you." You said as you put your forehead against his head. Tears poured from your eyes more. Ethan stood above you, sobbing as well.

"I lov—" Aiden didn't finish the sentence. But of course, you knew what he was going to say.
You got up and ran into Ethan's arms as Derek picked up Aiden's body.
"He would've done anything for you, that's why he did it. He loved you more than you could imagine." Ethan told you, stroking your hair that was covered in blood.
"I know, but it should've been me."
"No, it shouldn't have been. The world needs you, don't forget that." And you never did.
