Today was yet another rough day at lacrosse practice. Jackson was in a mood so of course he took it out on the field. You ended up with multiple bruises and two jammed fingers. You weren't supernatural, which means you don't heal quickly.
When you got home you immediately took an ice bath. You knew being in lacrosse and being the only girl would be a challenge, but you didn't like being in this much pain, and neither did your boyfriend Isaac. He constantly worry about you and your safety, and beat up anyone that hit you too hard.
You heard a knock on your bathroom door, knowing it was Isaac, you told him to come in.
"Hey honey." He said softly. He sat on the edge of your tub, grabbing your hand, taking your pain.
"Thank you." You told him.
"Anything for you."
You got out of the tub, and showered while Isaac waited in your room. When you were done he was sitting on the edge of your bed, clearly upset.
"You're mad, aren't you?"
"You're in so much pain, why won't you quit?" He said, getting up.
"Because I won't just quit. That proves everyone right, Isaac."
"Screw everyone! Your safety is more important!"
"Why can't you just support me!" You yelled.
"Because I can't handle you getting hurt all the time! You're my everything! It hurts me too Y/N!" He told you. You didn't even want to argue with him. You just quickly wrapped your arms around his waist, and laid your head on his chest.
"I'm sorry." You whispered. "I know you're saying all of this out of love. I just love the game so much, and can't just quit."
"I know baby, I'm sorry." He said, wrapping his arms tightly around you.
"Plus I have my own personal life saver to heal me, so I'll be okay." You told him, looking up at him.
"Always." He said, kissing your lips lightly.
"I love you."
"I love you more." He whispered in your ear.
"I love you most."
