Officer- Very well you guys are free to go, Jake there is the paper for the ticket going to be in your email

I nod as I get up and Erika as well as we go out of the station and back into the car, and Erika immediately looks at me.

Erika- I am so sorry Jake, I feel horrible, I will pay for it 

I laugh and shake my head.

Jake- Dont worry about it Rik, I can pay it, its fine 

Erika- No its not im paying 

Jake- Trust me, I have plenty of money to pay a ticket I will be fine

Erika- I feel awful, how can I make it up to you 

I smile at her thinking... "go on a date with me".... wait what 

Jake- Just be here for me, even if I yell and try to push you away 

She nods at me and smiles as I get back on the road continuing our little trip that is turning into a bigger trip.

Jake's POV: 

We have been driving for about a total of 4 hours now not including the 1 hour detour at the police station. It is now 3 p.m. and we keep getting calls and texts from the team but are ignoring them enjoying our littler getaway. I did text Tessa that im out and to watch Dallas not saying what Im doing or whats going on. I glance at Erika who has adjusted her seat so shes basically laying down and her feet our out on the dashboard. I smile at her as she looks at me. 

Erika- Sup 

Jake- You look so comfy 

Erika- I am these seats are really comfortable surprisingly 

Jake- I mean this is a very expensive car I would hope they are 

Erika laughs and nods realizing what she said. 

Erika- Oh yea, im dumb

Jake- No kidding 

Erika frowns and pinches me as I laugh.

Jake- Really pinching now 

She laughs and looks at her phone and laughs and I look at her confused as she glances up at me.

Erika- The texts from the team 

Jake- Read me some

Erika nods- From Kade- Where the hell are you, I swear if Jake kidnapped you I will be upset 

I laugh as Erika continues to read some. 

Erika - From Nathan- Did you really get that lost that you cant find your way back to us 

I laugh hard at that one as Erika smiles. I then see Erika get red at the one she reads next.

Jake- What does that one say 

Erika- Oh nothing just from Tessa 

Jake- Oh boy what does it say 

Erika sighs looking at me.

Erika- From Tessa- OH MY STARS, If  you and Jake are at a hotel room, make sure Jake wears a condom, if you were wondering that is how Dallas came to be 

I look at Jake and see him get red. 

Jake- Now I know why you did not want to read it 

Erika nods at me laughing.

Erika- Shes weird, not every time a girl and guy hang out means sex 

Jake- Eh most of the time
