After about 10 minutes he finally calms down a little and lets his head up from my shoulder and looks at me.

Jake- Sorry, I just, Im really sorry

Erika- Its fine Jake, Im the one who made you mad in the first place if anyone should be im sorry 

Jake- No I went off on you for no reason, I should not of it just hurt to hear that because of what happend to 

Jake stops talking and sighs. 

Jake- Because of what happend to her 

I look at him sad... realizing he can not say Alissa right now...  oh no...

Erika- Jake, dont worry about it, its fine Im just happy your doing better 

He gives me a slight smile. 

Jake- Listen about what you saw when I kind of beat that guy to a pulp 

I nod listening to what he says.

Jake- He was talking smack about her, and I could not take it, I use to but I just cant anymore it hurts so much and well I kind of went off on him, I understand if your scared of me you should leave before I beat you to 

I look at him and see only hurt in his eyes and sigh hugging him laying my head against his chest as his arms slowly go around me. 

Erika- Jake, I know your not a bad guy trust me, and im not going anywhere I know when you say leave me alone you dont actually mean it, so trust me im going to be right here next to you the whole time

I look up at him and he smiles at me and I soon feel a pair of lips on my head and I smile at him. 

Erika- Oh my god Jake your eye its black and blue

Jake sighs- Ill be fine dont worry 

I look at him and sigh nodding.

Jake- Thank you Erika, this means so much to me, you understanding and caring about me even after what you have seen me do 

I nod at him and smile.

Erika- Well you mean a lot to me 

He smiles at me. 

Jake- You mean a lot to me to

Jake's POV: 

We just got back to the house after the exciting events that took place and we go into the kitchen to see the boys yelling at the screen as Tessa is on her phone. Erika and I put the stuff away and then we walk to the couch and sit down next to each other. 

Nathan- OH MY GOD THAT WAS A HORRIBLE CALL

Tristan- COULD THE REFS SUCK ANY MORE THAN THEY DO NOW LIKE OH MY LORD 

I laugh and look at Erika who laughs and see Tessa roll her eyes.

Tessa- So you got the steak 

Jake- Oh man I knew we forgot something 

Tristan, Tessa, Nathan- YOU FORGOT THE STEAK 

Erika and I laugh. 

Jake- No we got it calm down 

Nathan- Good I was about to beat you to a pulp Paul

I laugh and smack his head. 

Jake- shut up Speiser, your big bro is coming soon dont want to put a bad report in about you 

Nathan laughs- Oh come one

I then hear Tessa squeal and pull me down on the couch jumping on my lap and examining my face... oh boy...

Tessa- JAKE JOSEPH PAUL WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND TO YOUR FACE 

I groan and look at her. 

Jake- Nothing alright im fine

Tessa- Jake your eye is black and blue you are defiently not fin- 

I look at her mad.

Jake- I DONT NEED YOU TO TELL ME IM NOT FINE OR IF IM FINE TESSA, YOU DONT HAVE TO ACT LIKE A FUCKING MOM TO ME, ILL BE FUCKING FINE AND IF I SAY IM FINE IM FINE JUST STOP 

I sigh looking down and then look up to see tears in her eyes and she gets up really fast and runs into the backyard tears coming down her face. I sigh and look up to see Nate and Tristan looking shocked at me and then Erika who looks at me sad. 

Tristan- What the hell was that about 

Jake- Nothing just drop it 

Nathan- You just screamed at her you better have a good reason Jake 

Tristan- You know what happend that first time you screamed at her after Alissa's death she went almost into depression thinking it was all her fault, which it was not at all

Jake- DONT SAY HER NAME GOT IT JUST STOP NOW, TESSA IS 24 SHES NOT A KID SHE CAN TAKE BEING YELLED AT 

I look over and see Erika looking down with a frown. 

Nathan- SHE MAY BE ABLE TO TAKE BEING YELLED AT BUT WHEN ITS FROM HER BEST FRIEND AND BASICALLY OLDER BROTHER I DONT KNOW HOW WELL SHE IS DOING 

I look at Nathan and sigh knowing hes right... Why the hell did I go off on them... they were just trying to help...

Jake- Im sorry I just - 

Tristan- Dont say sorry to us say sorry to Tessa 

I nod and get up heading outside catching a glance of concern from Erika as I walk out and see Tessa with her feet dipped into the pool staring into space. I sigh and sit down next to her dipping my feet in as well and bump my shoulder into hers as she looks at me and say the thing I said the first time I met her....
