I came to college, submitted my two pager and waited for the company to come. For about 2 hours.

The corporates finally came and explained to us about the functioning of their company and briefly about what they're expecting from us. So the job profile was to work in a the sales department of the company's real estate business. Totally not what I was expecting.

Even then I decided to go ahead with the interview. They decided to break us into groups and hold a GD, afterwhich they would select people for one-on-one interviews.

And.... Let's just say it sucked. I was with a group who had a lot of knowledge in general and the topic of the GD was on policitics, something I steer clear from. I legit had nothing to offer and even came across as dumb at one point with my one and only (baseless) argument. I did do slightly well when she individually asked questions about what we would do if we were the PM of our country or to describe entrepreneurship in just 2 words.

At the end of the GD, she left us with a good metaphor. She said that when people go to the market to buy tomatoes, they pick up the best ones according to them and then make a satisfactory meal with those set of tomatoes. However, there may be a high possibility that someone else already picked the better ones among the lot. She asked us not to feel bad if we are not chosen this time, not to feel like we are not the best. For there will always be another employers who is probably a better match. It did feel nice hearing that.

Yeah, I didn't get selected for the next round. I met up with Kristen and Paul and we chilled and played monodeal for a while (after getting kicked out of two areas. What problem do people have with just a stack of cards dammit) afterwhich I came back home.

At night, dad helped me get my CV in place and I got them printed. I also printed Kristen's CV as per her request.

I have my campus placement/ internship fair tomorrow and honestly, I'm keeping no expectations. What has to happen will happen.
