Today's CA paper was okay. I think I could have done better considering this was one subject that I had started seriously practicing since Jan.
I came back home and studied for tomorrow's Management Accounts paper.
BTS released two more versions of their comeback photos. Version 3 photos kinda resemble the version 2 photos but this time they're in a room instead of a bathroom. In version 4, they're posing with fruits. Not sure if it's supposed to be relevant to the theme of the album or not but okay.
I have just one complaint tho. What the fuck is going on with their stylist? All 7 members look handsome as fuck but their outfits on the other hand...
Version 1 and 2 were okay. Version 3 started the whole weird clothing style and I'm sorry but Version 4 clothes are straight up ugly. I don't even understand why they would choose those accesories.
Today I listened to IZ*ONE's entire HEART*IZ album. I'm going to rank them according to which one appealed more to me and maybe comment something about it.
1] Violeta - I have already spoken about this song yesterday. I absolutely love this track!
2] Really Like You - Woah, I absolutely love the melody of the song! It is a ballad and shows off IZ*ONE's vocal abilities really well. It has a very calming effect. I had expected Yujin and Chaewon's part to be the chorus but it wasn't. The actual chorus is not bad at all so that's chill. Yuri sings almost the entire song in this and honestly, I don't mind it. Because her voice suits the songs SO MUCH!
3] Highlight - Ooh this is a groovy one. And I like it. It did not go the way I had expected it to but it's fine. It's still really good. I like the beats and flow of the song. I probably like it more because this is a highly unexpected song, given IZ*ONE's concept and previous songs. Yena's rap was fiya tho!
4] I Want To Be A Cat - I don't think I spoke about the Japanese songs (except Suki to Iwasetai) but this one is such a calming song. The title is a bit weird but I really like the song progression in this one. The video may or may not have played a role in why this one's ranks above the others.
5] Up - This is such a refreshing song! I feel very nice when I hear this song. I absolutely love Chaewon's voice in general and this one seems to have quite a bit of her voice as well as that high note! I was correct, the part in the highlight medley was the end chorus and I like it much better now now that I have heard the actual chorus. IZ*ONE will also be performing this song along with the title song so I'm excited to see the choreography for this one.
6] Happy Goodbye - Another one of their Japanese songs, this is a really catchy song. I wasn't that impressed with the song in the beginning but it grew on me later on and I really like it now. The choreography for this is too cool.
7] Sunflower - This song totally belongs to Hitomi and Nako and I couldn't be more happier. Since this has a very cute vibe to it, it's not my preferred type of music but it's still very pleasing. I think this song has the same vibes as Colour from IZ*ONE's debut album.
8] Airplane - To be honest, I didn't really have high hopes from this song but I do like it. It's not really the type of music I would regularly listen to but the chorus by Jo Yuriz line (Yuri, Yena and Chaewon) was very smooth and fun to listen to. It has Twice's Ooh Aah vibes.
