An Outlet: Part 6

Today was all about working on the assignment that the company gave us yesterday.

I did read up a bit yesterday but didn't really understand much of it. And the reason why I got or I get so worked up about assignments like these is because I don't have prior knowledge about them. So I have to read up A LOT to have the faintest idea of what's expected and how I plan to deliver.

I read tonnes of newspaper articles today. In the beginning I had a stack of Times of India and Economic Times, all datewise, to try and scan for articles related to the company (the company is in crisis at the moment so there is considerable media coverage on it off late). I did all this and Alex was all like "You do know they have E-papers too right?"

Lol. That was a much faster idea for sure. Thanks bro. Stress makes me do illogical things at times. Anyways, I spent the whole day on it and have fully grasped the situation the company is in. Knowing all of this gradually calmed me down as well. Halfway through I was confident that I will be able to submit something concrete and not a half assed, ignorant submission.

Figuring out the intro took me more time than necessary. I just wasn't able to construct my sentences the way I wanted them to flow. I figured it out eventually and then proceeded with the rest of the article/report.

I have taken quite some time tho. It's close to 2AM but I have finally finished and submitted the assignment. I have a feeling I'm going to spook some people when they learn that I have already submitted one.

The reason why I was hell bent on completing the assignment by today itself was because tomorrow's the last day I get to prepare for my prelims. As you can tell, last days are always the most crucial days. I plan to complete as much of the FA portion as I can. Let's get it!
