An Outlet: Part 6

7 April, 2019.

I studied quite a bit today but it's still not enough for the paper. I still have two more days but honestly, I don't know how much time will I get to study amongst the interview jitters.

In the evening I finally updated my LinkedIn. I hadn't updated it since 2017 so it was high time that I did so. If any hirer looks at my profile, it should showcase what I've achieved. Otherwise it'll seem as if I've faked stuff on my CV.

I realised that I've made a small mistake in my CV. Instead of 2 months, I've written that my internship duration was for 3 months. I was going to change it and take the changed print out to the office but dad asked me not to do so. He said I can clarify later on if they asked but I shouldn't make changes to the CV once I have sent it to them. 

To Do List:
-> Read digital news - Done
-> Get updated on the assignment situation - Done
-> Read up about the company and the contact person - Done
-> Revise Finance and stuff on CV -

I was going through the company website and here's what I was thinking. Even though I have studied Finance for three years and specialised in it in my third year, there is still an invisible wall that I can feel between me (or us as almost-graduates) and what Finance means in the industry. It's like a whole new world to discover.... but from below zero level.

With Marketing, things kinda came naturally to everyone and I don't know if it's easier to understand the JD or we were exposed more to this subject but at this point, I know more about what a marketer's job is than someone who is into Finance. I hope it's not just me cause that would.... just not sit well with me.

Let's hope my interview goes well.

HOLY CRAP! BTS released their new MV teaser. The title track is called Boy With Luv! AND IT'S FEATURING HALSEY WHAAAATTT?!!? SHE'S IN THE VIDEO!! And not like Nicki Minaj whose solo clips were just added to the original MV. SHE'S LITERALLY IN THE SAME FRAME AS BTS!!

Now that I have brought it out, let me just quickly point out an observation. Out of all international artists BTS has worked with it/ been associated with in some way, Nicki is the only one who doesn't mention BTS much and vice versa. It's like everyone's trying to forget that she even did a MV with them.

ANYWAYS, coming back to the real deal. THEIR CHOREOGRAPHY STARTS WITH THE ENDING POSITION OF BOY IN LUV??!! First of all, yes, the title is undeniable and, for sure, deliberately similar. Kind of building on the fact that this one's trailer opening matched Skool Luv Affair's trailer (Boy in Luv was the title song for that album). Both the songs + War Of Hormone (which was a bonus MV for this album) include a female and the boys looking at her during some parts of the MV.

The visual, sound and voice have a retro feel which is exactly the kinda vibe the teaser photos gave off. All the boys looked great! I especially loved V and Jimin's hair colour. Oooohhh I'm excited for the 12th!

BTS Love Yourself Tour ended today and the next era has already began. Woah!
