“WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!?!” Tyler yelled as he walked into a scene he wished he could unsee.
Tyler quickly turned around and shouted at the two naked couple who quickly covered themselves with the blanket.
“CLEAN UP, GET DRESSED AND BE DOWNSTAIRS IN 10 MINUTES!” Tyler ordered them before closing the door and marched away.
York covered Violet as much as he could and he could hear Violet begin to giggle. York pulled the blanket down and kissed her lips as her laughter became louder. The midday sun shine brightly on her smiling face.
“Little minx.” York said as he pulled her out of bed and brought her to the bathroom.
“It’s not my fault we stayed in bed late.” Violet shouted as the shower stall was opened and the two of them took a shower.
“I can’t help it that I can’t get enough of you.” York kissed her lips. “He’s so mad right now. Do you think he’ll kill me?”
“If anything, he’ll kill me.” Violet told him as she soaped him up. “You’re his prodigal son with no faults. I’m the unwanted daughter with no manners or morals. It had to have been me who corrupted your innocence.”
“Don’t joke like that.” York suddenly said seriously. “Don’t joke like that about your sad past. It hurts me to know you suffered so much alone.”
“York….” Violet said not knowing what else to say. Her throat became clogged and she didn’t know how to react to his kindness.
“I want you, Violet Tate, so never say you’re unwanted ever again. If the whole world doesn’t want you, it’s their lost and my blessing. I have you all to myself, just the way I like it.” York teased as he kissed her forehead. “Hurry, we have to get downstairs before Tyler’s head pops off from all the pressure it built up by now.”
Violet smiled and did as she was told. That day, no one died, the way that York and Violet joked. Instead, they were engaged, when York immediately confessed his feelings and asked for Tyler and Lizzie’s blessing. That afternoon, York took Violet to a jeweler and designed their engagement ring and wedding ring. While they had to wait for a couple of weeks for it to be completed, York bought a simple couple’s engagement ring and they wore it when they walked out.
Violet and York quickly moved into her condo and after her three month contract was over, she didn’t renew it nor did she go work for Tate Inc. By then, news of her leaving Luna Corporation and her fashion line made front page of the newspaper. Tyler tried to get her to work at Tate Inc, however Violet refused all of his offers.
Slowly Violet's relationship with her Father grew to be stable. Although they weren't as close as he wanted them to be, them spending time with each other without the other getting angry was an achievement from where they started.
Raine lived a lazy life as Violet Tate with her lover until they grew old. They didn’t have children to fill their lives, however they did have each other and that was enough for them.
When York died in his sleep, Raine woke up the next day with the feeling of a cold body. She cried as she was once reminded of the day Valentin died in her arms and to have him die in her arms again, was heartbreaking.
Raine’s heart began to hurt.
“What’s wrong with me?” Raine asked her system as she felt her arm become numb.
[Heart attack.]
“Fuck it hurts.” Raine said as she felt herself lose consciousness.
