The cat hissed at Raine before disappearing.  Suddenly there was a scratch on Sabine’s door as a cat meows.  The noise brought Sabine out of her trance and she tilts her head towards the noise.  Hearing the scratching and the meowing, Sabine gets out of the tub and wraps a towel around her body.  She walks towards the door and waits for the noise she heard before.

“Hello?  Is anyone there?”

Sabine opens her front door slightly and only sees the black and white cat waiting patiently.  When she opens the door wider, the cat starts purring at her feet.

“Hello little one.  I haven’t seen you around here before.  Where is your master?” Sabine began to talk to him as she pokes her head out and looks down at the empty hallway.  Upon seeing no one, she brings the cat inside and places him on the bed. “Wait here, I’m going to get dressed first.”

Sabine quickly drys herself before slipping into her sleeping clothes.  She walks towards the cat who had curled into a ball and only popped up his head when she came close.  

“Hi, little one.”  Sabine said as she reached out to pet him.  “Were you lonely? Me too. Traveling alone can be lonely, but at least I’m not lost, right little one?”  

Sabine begins to pat, rub and stroke the cat as she spoke.  The cat beings to purr loudly to her touches.

“All that time traveling and I have finally found a place that welcomes me warmly.  I had thought that I could stay here longer, hoped that the Young Lord fall in love with me and we get married.  How wonderful that would be. But he’s engaged to God’s Hand, herself. How could I ever compare to such a woman?”  

~~~~~~Meoow~~~~~ [You could never compare to my Host. Sorry, not sorry.]

“They match each other very well.  His status, looks and accomplishments matches her status, looks and accomplishments.  Why would he ever look at a nobody village girl like me.”

~~~~~~Meow~~~~~~ [You could never!]  

“But I can’t help the way I feel.  I liked him the moment I saw him and began to fall in love with him.  Now that I know that he is engaged, I know I shouldn’t like him anymore, however I just can’t help myself.  My feelings are overflowing everytime I see him, everytime I’m near him, everytime I’m close to him, and everytime I’m away from him.  My feelings begins to build and build. I could feel it bursting and the moment I see him, I feel as if we’re meant to be. That him, marrying Elise is not suppose to happen.  That he is suppose to marry me.”

~~~~Meow, Meow~~~~~[You could try it, but Host will kill you.  Just leave when you can, so you can live. Once you leave, never show up before her again, or she’ll really kill you for annoying her.]

“Why do I feel this way?  Why do I feel as if I’m losing something that is not even mine?”  

~~~~Meow, Meow~~~~[Stop thinking about it.  It’s never going to happen.]

“Little one, why do I feel like your trying to give me advice.”  Sabine smiled and picked the cat up to hold. “You’re a great listener.  Can I keep you until your owner comes to find you.”

~~~~Meow~~~~[I wouldn’t even stay with you, had it not been for Host’s request.  You’re not worthy of this Scam System.]

“You’re sleeping with me tonight.  Okay?” Sabine said as she cuddles with the cat.  Sabine crawls into bed and blows out the candle by her bed, causing the room to drown in darkness.  “Little one, what should I do? My heart and my mind is so conflicted.”

~~~Meow~~~~[Run.  And run fast, away from my Host.]

“I feel that if I don’t at least try, I’ll regret it for life.”  

~~~~~Meow~~~[You won’t even have a life to regret anything, once my Host gets mad… Goodluck.]

Sabine holds the cat as she falls asleep with a new found hope.  Little did she know, the cat was a spy who only had allegiance to his Host.  

The next day when Elise came out of her room, Axel stood outside of his.  He greeted her with a warm smile that slowly turned into a sexy grin, when Elise kept staring at him.  

“Handsome enough for you?”  Axel asked. “If you marry me, you can look at this face whenever you want to and as long as you want to.  For, I’ll only look at you.”

“You have something on your face.”  Elise said.

“Where?  Here?” Axel asked as he pointed to his face.  

“Up a little more,  to the left, that’s it right there.”  

Axel did exactly what she told him, suddenly he felt her hand hit the back of his hand as his hand hit his face. Before he could even realize that she tricked him, she already turned away from him and began to walk away.  

But before she walked away, she whispered one word that caused his ego to be hurt yet at the same time he was happy.  

“Idiot.”  

Axel rubbed his face with a smile.  The hit didn’t hurt, but the fact that she played a prank on him made him smile.  He didn’t know she had a playful side to her. It made him happy that she shared apart of herself with him.  

With a wide grin, he quickly catches up to Elise and his hand reaches out without him thinking and catches the ribbon that flowed side to side as she walked.  The ribbon was tied around her dress and flowed down her back, which caused him to look at her curves that were hidden underneath her dress.

“You having dirty thoughts about me?”  Elise asked as she quickly turns around and sees his pervy look.  “And so early in the morning? You must have male needs that has to be addressed, but not with me.”

Yep, definitely her slag of a man, Raine thought.
