Their scouts had watched as the Dark Elves became unified under a single leader as he trained an army of Dark Elves. Their home was fortified with fortresses, towers and constant sentinels throughout their land. Those that entered the land of the Dark Elves were killed upon first sight. No questions were asked. No mercy was given.
The Dark Army’s changes worried the other Elves and had taken them a long time to come to an agreement. The fear of Dark Elves taking over their lands became more important than generations of misunderstandings and petty grudges.
The Wood Elves, River Elves, and Mountain Elves each gathered half of their forces to join their coalition to destroy the Dark Elves, once and for all.
As the coalition of Elves stood on the outskirts of lands of the Dark Elves, a heavy sense of dread came over them. The burnt, dark woods and black soil in front of them seemed more daunting than they thought it would be. The dark clouds over head didn’t help them either. It was as if they were taking a step into death itself.
The leaders swallowed their fear and bolstered their courage and began their steps into a war to completely eliminate the Dark Elves. As they entered the dark forest, black arrows were shot out at them from all directions, catching them by surprise. They didn’t even hear the bows being notched, nor could they see exactly where it came from.
The Elf coalition grouped together and brought their shields out to cover the rain of arrows that fell down on them. The constant thunk on their shields caused the army to gather tightly together, closing any gaps between them so the arrows could not pierce through to them.
“They’re crazy.” One soldier whispered in a state of fear as the intense adrenaline coursed through his veins. “They’re trying to kill us!”
“Of course they’re trying to kill us! We’re also trying to kill them as well, so shut your mouth and listen for commands!” The person next to him growled.
The group held together until the rain of falling arrows came down onto them stopped. They waited for a few minutes longer before one of the leaders peaked his head up and did not see anything. He waited a few more moments, to ensure that the Dark Elves weren’t playing a trick before he told the rest of the coalition that it was alright.
“Formations! Get into formations!” The ordered was shouted over and over.
Soon the Elf colatation gathered their courage and reorganized their troops. Who would have thought that the Dark Elves did not give them time to take a breath. The Dark Elves immediately charged towards the Elf coalition, attacking from all sides. The Elf coalition was surrounded and did not know when they had fallen into the Dark Elves trap.
As the fighting broke out on the ground, the sky darkened and began to rain. Lightning flashed as the sky broke out in loud claps of thunder. None of the Elves paid the weather any mind as they fought for their lives. Had they did, they would have see the clouds part as a ginormous spaceship covers the entire sky.
Isao stood beside Raine as he squinted his eyes at the spaceship. The time has come for Headquarters to try to capture them.
“Scam.” Isao said as he turned towards the invisible sphere hovering around his left shoulder. “Don’t let anything happen to her. Escape with her if we can’t defeat them.”
The invisible sphere moved up and down as if it was telling Isao that it would follow his orders.
Isao turns around and quickly goes back into his chambers that he shared with Raine. Her naked back was facing the entry as her hair fanned out behind her. The blanket on top of her had been pulled down to her waist.
Isao slowly and quietly walks up to Raine and when he got to the bed he leans over and kisses her bare shoulder. His tongue traced her shoulder to her neck where he quickly sucked on her skin and bit it as well.
“Hmmm.” Raine moaned as she smiled. “Good morning to you too.”
Isao turns Raine’s face towards him as he kisses her lips. The softness of her lips, her moist tongue, the sweetness of her breath made him devour her lips more. When he broke away, he looked down at Raine with serious eyes.
“What’s wrong?” Raine asked as she scrunched her eyebrows together.
“It’s time.” Isao told her.
Raine’s easygoing mood quickly changed into one of worry and determination. They had been preparing for this day for four years. She could no longer lay in bed like before.
Raine sat up and quickly got dressed. Onced dressed, Raine followed Isao as they exited the volcano. Several platoons of robots were already fighting with the Elves.
In the midst of a war with the Elf Coalition, strange beings began to interfere with the war. The strange beings fought anyone in their way, no matter if they were Dark Elves or from the Elf Coalition. Soon, the Elves began to work together, no matter if they were Dark Elves, River Elves, Wood Elves, or Mountain Elves.
The strange beings were slaughtering them all without reason or bias. Better to kill the enemy you do not know, rather than the enemy you do know. So together, they all turned towards the strange beings and began to work together to kill the invaders.
Isao, Raine, Scam, and Oden jumped into the fray, fighting the androids. The four of them fought in a circle, with their backs to one another. They were not willing to let anyone else cover their backs except each other.
Raine slashed down with her sword, eliminating the android in front of her while shooting out a fire bomb towards the largest concentration of androids. She would use wind to blow the androids back, should they come too close to them, giving them time to fight and not be overrun by the androids.
Raine aimed for their necks, hoping to cut off their heads. It was the fastest way to eliminate them and move on to the next one. Without her noticing, some of the Dark Elves had separated from the main group of Elves and made their way towards Raine and her small group. They fought close to them, helping them avilate the pressure.
No matter how many androids fell, more and more were replaced. It was a losing war. The Elves were getting tired and they had lost half of their kin already.
“Go.” Isao ordered Scam. He knew they were not strong enough to face Headquarters and their endless resource of androids.
Scam quickly disappeared from his position and landed right next to Raine. He quickly fought of the Android in front of him while reaching out to grab Raine.
“It’s time to go.” Scam yelled as he grabbed a hold onto Raine’s arm.
Raine was lost in her own thoughts of survival that she didn’t even notice Scam showing up beside her. When she felt a hand on her arm, she quickly looked over to see that it was Scam, losing her concentration on the Android that she was fighting with.
When Scam took Raine away from the world, they did not expect that Headquarters not only placed a track on them, but a virus as well.
