Echo was quickly sedated inside of the helicopter, however before she lost consciousness, Raine ordered her Scam System to record everything that happened to her and to track where they were taking her. She wanted to know where she was going and how to get in and out of the facility.
When Raine woke up, she could feel her mind was groggy. She was laying on a metal table with bright lights above her. The room was cold and it was also very quiet.
“Scam System.” Raine called out in her mind. “How long have I’ve been unconscious?”
[36 hours.]
“Have they done anything to me yet?”
[Negative. They have only did a complete body check to ensure your physical health. They are waiting until you wake up to check your mental health before they do any experiments.]
“Where exactly am I?”
[You are in an underground government sponsored bunker called Sube Technology. From what I have gathered while you were sedated, they are the sole reason why the zombie apocalypse happened.]
“Why am I here? What do they want with me?”
[To continue experimenting on you.]
“What else have you found out?”
[The underground bunker is 200 miles away from Okio Pack territory. To get into the underground bunker is through a double secured doorway and two check points, guarded by military men 24/7. Each door in the facility is locked and each person is wearing a watch that unlocks the doors. As long as you have a watch with the correct clearance, you can open every door in the facility. If you don’t have clearance, you will not be able to open secured doors.]
“Are you able to break into the security system and take over?”
[Yes. Security system has already been infiltrated and is under my complete control.]
“You finally did something right for the first time.” Raine told her Scam System.
[The upgrade you invested into me has given me more free will to help you succeed your missions. Your failure is my failure. Your success is my success. Invest more upgrades and you will have a complete A.I. that can help you without you even asking.]
“Yes. Yes. Yes.” Raine said as she sighed. “I hear you loud and clear. Who is that blonde man that took me?”
[His name is Jack Sube. This is his company that he started. He is the lead scientist and CEO of Sube Technology. His goal is to create the perfect human. One who is stronger, faster, and smarter. A super soldier. You are test subject 099, the only survivor of his experiment of 100 children.]
“Does this mean I succeed the mission, since you found out who I am and why Echo was running away?”
[Not yet, although I found out this information for you. The information is incomplete. It is also up to you if you want to take revenge for everything that Echo was forced to endure.]
“I knew it wouldn’t be that easy.” Raine grumbled as she turned her head to look around the sterilized room. “What is the current situation? Where are the scientist?”
[Currently they are in an urgent meeting with the General. They have found out that werewolves are not susceptible to the zombie virus and are planning to capture werewolves to test on. They want to find out what gene in the werewolf’s DNA cancels out the zombie virus in hopes to cure the human race.]
Raine looked down at the restraints that were holding her down. They were made of metal and was controlled by a computer.
“Unshackle me.” Raine ordered.
Raine was quickly released and she stood up. She couldn’t let anyone capture the werewolves to open up and test on, for their own selfish reason. They had created the virus on their own and now they are looking for an antidote to stay alive. They were selfish human beings that deserved to die.
“Show me a map to Jack’s office.”
A transparent screen quickly lit up in front of Raine’s face. There were red blinking dots on the screen indicating human presence. Each door that Raine went through were opened with her Scam System’s help. Raine quickly made detours around security and scientists, while her Scam System erased all records of Raine’s movements on the security cameras.
Once inside of Jack Sube’s office, Raine quickly broke into Jack’s computer and read through is data files that he took on a daily basis.
Raine found out that each test subject that Jack experimented on was a baby that had his DNA. In some twisted way, he wanted the first super soldier to have his DNA, because he thought his DNA was far superior than the others. He would impregnate surrogate woman and once the baby was born, he would inject chemicals inside of the baby, to help the baby develop their mind and body faster. The chemicals, known as SS Serum, were injected into the test subjects every week. They were observed and tested everyday.
With 98 failed test subjects, Echo Nox, born March 20th 4088, was named because she was born on the Equinox. Echo lived as a test subject for 23 years and had escaped with the help of a scientist and a soldier who suddenly found their morals after finding out how horrible and twisted Jack Sube was. With evidence in their hands and Echo by their side, they had planned to reveal to the world the truth about Sube Technology. However, it was because of their escape that the zombie virus was released.
The vile of SS Serum was broken when they were running away and Echo was a walking zombie virus as well as an antidote. She had survived the SS serum treatments and her blood had antibodies to cure the virus. It was only with time, that Jack could create an antidote, however they were also greedy to find another way to cure the zombie virus, through capturing and testing the werewolves.
