When Raine opened her eyes, she was back inside of Scam’s system space.  Her tired body and mind looked around and sat on her bed.

“Scam, did Isao and Oden make it out safely?”  Raine asked.

Nothing but silence answered her.

“Scam?”  Raine asked louder as she stood up.  “You okay? Why didn’t you answer me?”

Raine waited for a moment again for his answer, but her question was unanswered again.

“Scam!?!”  Raine yelled as a wave of panic enter her body.  “Are you here?”

Raine walked around the room and touched every wall and corner, trying to find any way out of the room, or any way to contact Scam manually.  She removed everything from its original spot and tore the room apart, but still couldn’t find a way out of the room, nor any signs on how to contact Scam.

Feeling frustrated, Raine screamed loudly and sat down on the bed.  Her eyes glared at the soulless city landscape in front of her. Raine was worried that something had happened to the three people that she loved.   How is she supposed to get out of Scam’s system space, if he isn’t here to take her out? Will she be stuck there for eternity?

Raine picked up the blanket and pillow up from the ground and placed it back on the bed.  She laid down on it and closed her eyes and hoped that when she woke up, Scam would be sitting beside the bed, waiting for her.

For the first time in a long time, Raine found it hard to sleep.  She tossed and turned in bed, thinking about different scenarios about what could have happened to Isao, Odan and Scam.  Time passed by slowly and Raine’s thoughts ran wildly.

How could she sleep while her loved one could be in danger?  How could she stay still and not do anything? But she was stuck and there was nothing she could do at the moment to get herself out of Scam’s system space.

Raine stared at the ceiling for a long time before her eyelids slowly fell down over her sight.  She slowly blinked, trying to fight off the sleepiness, before the darkness took her thoughts away.

Raine did not dream when she fell asleep.  She did not feel as if she was sleeping at all.  Her body felt light yet tired. She could feel the warm blanket around being removed and the soft bed that she slept on was replaced with cold steel.

Raine wanted to open her eyes, but they were too heavy for her to even open them.  There was a hazy fog that covered her mind and made her body feel heavy. She drifted in and out of consciousness, knowing that she had been removed from Scam’s system space, but at the same time, she knew that she was unable to wake herself up to confirm her thoughts.

Once she felt the cold metal clamp over her wrist, her neck and her ankles, did she finally confirmed her fears.  Somehow Headquarters had captured her and she was now detained.

When the fog around her mind lifted, she felt as if a million ants were crawling up and down her limbs.  The numbing feeling made Raine open her eyes and look around her surroundings.

Everywhere she looked was white walls.  In front of her was a horizontal two way mirror that filled up half of the wall.  Her body was hung up in the middle of the room. Raine tried to move her hands and legs, but the moment they moved, they were brought back to the original position.  It was as if the metal cuffs around her wrists, ankles and neck was magnetzited to something else on the wall.

Raine stared at the two way mirror for a long time, however she didn’t speak.  Her heart raced with fear, but she didn’t show it. She didn’t want Headquarters to know what she was feeling.  Instead she bent her head down and rested, for whatever Headquarters had in store for her.

Somehow Raine fell asleep, but she woke up to the noise of a door opening.  On the left side of the wall, a door appeared and opened. An android walks in and walks up to Raine.

It lifts Raine’s face up and stares at Raine for a long time before speaking.

“Transmigrater Raine.  You have been charged with several crimes against the Intergalactic Transmigration System (ITS).  Those crimes are:

- Falsifying documents to becoming a System Transmigrater

- Hiding and assisting a fugitive and his system of ITS. Fugitive: Isao, System: Odan

- Illegal escape from ITS

- Unauthorized transmigration to other worlds

- Assault of an Intergalactic Transmigration Soldier

- Murder of an Intergalactic Transmigration  Soldier

- Conspiracy to overthrow ITS.

- Hacking ITS mainframe and adjusting ‘Last Dying Wish’ System’s upgrade

There are more crimes that you have broken that will be added as time passes, but with these few crimes that you have committed, you do understand what kind of a situation you are in right now, right?”

The android took it’s hand back and Raine’s head flopped back down as if she had no strength to hold it back up.

“Where are your partners in crime?  Where are they hiding?” The android asked.

Raine closed her eyes as if she didn’t hear it.

Suddenly a loud smack could be heard echoing throughout the room as Raine’s head tilts to the side and blood spills out from her mouth.  Her cheek is bright pink with an outline of the android’s hand on her face.

Raine spits out the blood and a couple of loose teeth also shoot out as well.

Raine did not scream when she felt the pain of the android smacking her on the face, instead she internalized it and absorbed it.  Instead of sexual pleasure, her Succubus fed on Raine’s pain to survive.

The room became quiet again before the android began to beat Raine furiously.  It’s fists did not waver and made Raine’s body into a punching bag.

Raine gritted her teeth, sometimes biting her inner cheek, to stop her from crying out loud.  At most she would grunt loudly, but she did not cry out for help nor for the android to stop.

Although she did not know where Isao, Scam and Odan is, she would never speak to Headquarters about them.  Even if she told them the truth, they would not believe her.

If not for her many years spent on learning her skills and for her Succubus, she would have long folded into the Android’s demand and sing like a bird.

Raine didn’t know how long she had been tortured by the Android.  She just knew that she had lost consciousness after a while, as her body shut down to heal itself from injury.  Now that she was awake again, she could only feel herself still hanging inside of the room and her body was badly broken.

Several of her bones were broken, but she didn’t care, she was still breathing.  As long as there was a breath inside of her body, she would keep on fighting to live.

Her mind drifted off away again, as her Succubus absorbed her pain.  It fed on her pain and converted it into energy inside of Raine. As Raine slept, she subconsciously used the energy inside of her to begin absorbing the natural magic around her.  Even if she was contained inside of a spaceship, there was still natural magic within space.
