Two of them attacked her at the same time while the other one stood by to keep his eyes on the wolves.

His eyes quickly turned back to see his friends quickly sliced down by the crazy woman.  She swung the machete like an experienced fighter. He soon realized he and his friends made a mistake.

Without him realizing, he made another mistake.  He had forgotten about the wolves and was soon attacked from behind.  His screamed as he fell to the ground. His scream was quickly cut off when his throat was chomped down and his flesh along with his larynx was pulled out.  Blood sprayed out and a pool of blood quickly covered the road.

Raine quickly cut the men’s arms, body’s and legs, causing them to scream out in pain and drop their weapons.  When they fell, they also were put out of their misery, when Raine slit their throats.

Raine looked towards the car that started the engine.  The two women were smart and quickly reversed the car and drove away.

Woof!  Woof! Woof!  The little pup finally barked as he jumped out of the backpack and limped towards his pack.  The happy reunion was quickly gone as the same car that had just left was quickly driving bak.

“Get off the road.”  Raine shouted as she ran to the side.

The car zoomed pass Raine and the wolves as the woman shouted at Raine.

“Die bitch!”

Raine looked as the car became further and further away from her however the wolves began to howl.

Raine looked back on the road and what she saw made her eyes widen in surprise and fear.  The horde of zombies was over 300 and they were running her way.

“Run!”  Raine called out as she suddenly found herself running with the wolves.  Even though they could have taken off by themselves, they still ran close to her, leading her through the woods.

Time pass, however she knew she still couldn’t make it. The horde of zombies were catching up, while her stamina was running low.

“Forget about me, just go.”  Raine shouted. “Go!”

Even though she told them to save themselves, they didn’t leave her behind.  They ran in front of her, never too far or too close. Their yapping and barking was encouraging her to keep on running.

She could feel the ground underneath her shake.  The horde was getting closer.

“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.”  Raine repeatedly said as she ran.  Her breath came quick as her lungs pumped air into her body.  Her legs and arms kept moving, pushing her body forward.

However, she was still too slow and too human.  Her foot got caught in a tree root and she fell.  She fell down hard, causing her to lose her breath.

Suddenly she felt a tug on her jacket.  She looked up and it was the little pup, telling her to get up.

“I won’t make it.”  Raine told the pup, however the pup still tugged on her sleeve.  “Just go.”

Raine got up and knew it was would be too late for her.  No matter how far she ran. But she couldn’t let the wolves die because of her.  She began running again, however her ankle was injured. She limped her way until the forestline broke into a clearing and Raine stopped.

“Go.”  Raine told the little pup who also stopped.  “I’ll hold them back, while you and your pack run.  Go! This is the only way for you to survive. Go!”

One of the wolves came forward and bit the back of the little pups neck and carried him away from Raine.  They ran away from her and once in a while they would look back.

Raine turned her attention to the zombie horde and was soon greeted by their rotting flesh.  Their moaning and groaning could be heard in union like a harmonizing choir.

30 feet, 20 feet, 10 feet.  Raine gathered the magic within her and unleashed it.  A wall of fire, 30 feet tall and 30 feet wide rose from the ground as the ground before Raine opened up, the zombies caught on fire and directly fell into the deep pit.

Raine held the wall of fire for as long as she could.  There wasn’t enough magic energy in the air for Raine to store up inside of her.  After four minutes, the fire wall died and the ground before her closed up.

Her consciousness slowly fell away as she felt the strength in her body become lifeless.  Right when she fell down, what she saw right before her eyes closed made her swear at her Scam System for transmigrating her to this world.

“Scam System! Zombie apocalypse and Werewolves!  What the hell!”
