“Aircraft Control?  Does that mean I get to learn how to fly an airplane?”  Raine asked.

[Yes, as well as helicopters, rockets, and spaceships.]

“Spaceships!”  Raine said as her eyes widen in excitement.  “Select every New Skill to learn.”

“Yes.”  Raine answered.  “Do I still need to upgrade you?”  

[No, Scam System is fully upgraded. Please wait to be transmitted to the Training and Transformation Center.]  

Before Raine could ask him another question, she was transferred into the Training and Transformation Center.   To heighten her vision and her hearing, she didn’t undergo training, but instead was transformed under surgery. Her sight and her hearing was replaced by machinery.  

She trained for 1000 years to learn how to play every instrument in all the different worlds. Then spent 100 years learning how to fly aircrafts and spacecrafts.  

When Raine came out of the Training and Transformation Center, the first thing she did was look into the mirror.  Her eyes were the color of cold steel, and her pupil zoomed in and out like a camera lens. Her ear looked the same, however she knew that there was a machine, behind her ear, that connected to her brain to let her hear noises from far away.  She was now a cyborg.

Behind her was Scam’s human form sitting on a cushioned chair waiting for her.  Raine turns around and immediately swings her feet and kicks him in the face. His body falls to the right as he is caught off guard.  

“What was that for?”  Scam asked as he held the side of his cheek.  He looked up to her as if he had been wronged by him.  He was just sitting there minding his own business and she came up and attacked him for no reason.  

“The rest of the ass kicking that I promised you.”  Raine reminded him as she helped him up.

“Well, hello to you too.”  Scam said as he stood back up and saw the changes in Raine.  “Had I know you could hold onto a grudge for so long, I wouldn’t have done anything to make you mad.”

“It’s not in your nature to not scam someone.”  Raine said as she went to sit on her bed.

“Yes… well… you got me there.”  

“In the years that I was in the Training and Transformation Center, did you figure out why you have missing memories?”  

“No.  I couldn’t find any clues from my hardware and I even hacked into Headquarters to read my files, but there is nothing there as well.  I’m just a standard issued ‘Last Dying Wish’ system.”

“Am I your first Host?”  Raine asked Scam.

“No.  You’re my second.”  

“What happened to your first Host?”  

“I...why can’t I remember my first Host?”  Scam said as a worried look came over him.

“System Reset?”  Raine suggested. “After each Host succeeds or fails the ‘Last Dying Wish’ missions, maybe Systems are brought back to Headquarters to be reseted for the next Host?”   

“Maybe.”  Scam said as a frown came over his face.  But his file did not say anything about him going through a system reset.  He didn’t tell Raine this information because he didn’t want to worry her.  They still had time to figure things out.

“Are there any items in the System Market Place that are permanent items I can carry with me throughout each transmigrated mission?”  

A transparent screen flickered before her eyes and all of the items were then recategorized for permanent items.  Raine’s eyes enlarged to see the many high quality items and drooled over them as if she wanted all of them.

With 75,000 Soul Force Points left, she spent it on a S Level Space Ring that could only recognize the Host.  The S Level Space Ring could carry anything inside of it, living or not, no matter how heavy or light. The only things it did not do was replenish previous stored items and it is not a living organism that grows plants.  

The S Level Space Ring was like a storage container.  If Raine wanted to place live chickens in her Space Ring, she would have to provide the chickens with chicken feed.  Because the Space Ring is S Level, it could fit four galaxy’s inside of it.

The second item she spent her Soul Force Points on is a legendary sword called Transcendence made from a Jade Moon Comet. The enchanted, double edge straight sword enhances the owner’s skills by adapting to its owner’s power.  Should Raine use her Natural Magic, her sword would be able to withhold the Natural Magic inside of itself and project the Natural Magic on it’s blade.

The blade itself is black, with a black and white handle and it had a small black tassel with a pendant.  The scabbard was also made of the same material as the sword with intricate carvings that weaved back and forth.  

The Jade Moon sword was considered one of the best metals in all of the different worlds, so it would be handy for Raine to use it when she needed to.  

With only 10,000 Soul Force Points left, Raine closed the screen in front of her and practiced with the sword she just bought.  She also practiced how to access her Space Ring quickly to pull her sword out of thin air. After a couple of hours, Raine was ready to go on her next mission.  

“Ready?”  Scam asked as he looked up at her.  

“Send me to my next mission.”  Raine told him.
