With the rose of Indy still in my hand I run onto the stage when the music of 'Lost In Japan' starts to play. Wow, this is really the last show of the European leg. I remember well that the tour started. That was in Amsterdam: the greatest city in the Netherlands. But don't say that to Indy 'cause she's from Rotterdam and she once told me that there's some sort of anger between those two cities. And all of that beacause of soccer.

After 'Lost In Japan' I want to continue singing 'There Nothing Holdin' Me Back ', but the music doesn't start playing. I look at Andrew in a panic, don't let this happen during the last show. Something's happening on the big screen behind me, but I'm not sure of what that is. The screen is flickering. "I've no idea what's wrong, guys." I tell my audience. Fuck, this doesn't look good. Yesterday the screen did it perfectly, what the hell happened to it?

I turn back to the technical service in the back of the room and ask through the microphone what happens. Suddenly the entire room starts screaming and a video is playing behind me. I initially see Nathan crawling across the floor, but also videos of me and Indy.

This must be something Indy did. She's such a amazing girl. An old tweet from Indy appears and then a piece of film fragment. Wow, there are even videos in of the month we met. Those are from two yeras ago. The best moments of ours pass in the video.

"Hey, Shawn, I'm so sorry to interrupt your show." I hear a familiar voice say. Indy is now big on the screen with Nathan on her lap. She's gorgeous as always. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there at your last show in London, but I wanted to tell you that we're very proud of you and that we miss you very much. Enjoy your last performance and we love you." Nathan cheerfully waves which causes the audience to burst into screams. As soon as the screen turns black, I turn back to the audience. My cheecks are flushing, I can literally feel them burning up.

"Man up, Mendes!" Brian shouts in an attempt to rise above the audience. I wipe away my tears quickly and take a deep breath.

"Didn't see that coming." I laugh uncomfortably at my fans. It's the only thing I can say at this moment. That video took me by surprise, but I should've know it. We're still talking about Indy, my wife, she's so amazing. She always knows how to cheer me up.

I see my mother in the audience and she also wipes away her tears. She blows a kiss in my direction and for some reason that gives me good courage to start singing again. The music starts to play and my voice sounds louder than ever before.

After singing all my songs, I run to my mother during the closing song and hug her. This is the end of the first part of my tour and the start of a new part in my life. Now it's time to become a father again and take care of my family.
