Again not a cliche chappie here but bear with me! I Am going to spam update today since I'm in the mood! plus since the chapters I write here are short......yeah it's fun... but enough talking!
1. Unsolicited advice and critique
Okay, ace! The thing is, I am one of those peeps here who, after reading a chapter, scroll down to the comment section 'cuz I am awesome.
What irks me the most are those people who are throwing shade for no reason.
The author missed a comma?
Shady peeps "I will ruin this poor human's whole self esteem."
I mean! Okay! it's GREAT to tell the author what is wrong but giving out paragraphs upon paragraphs of how much you hate something is not a great idea.
I get it you may disagree with a lot of things! But just going there and randomly ranting is not a magnificent idea(again). Be polite since chances are your book isn't any better either (Something I tell myself often).
2. Self promotion
STOP. STOP. STOP.
What puts me off is when I see a book which has a lot of attention and its comment section is cluttered with people saying "WOAH! YOUR STORY IS BOMBZ! btw how about you give my book "shrekXdonald trump hawt smut 696696969" a read?"
First! a book's comment section is not a place for you to self advertise. If you want to do that, there are other books available like "read for read" and "promote yourself" etc where you can drop your book and even read other books too.
3. FAN WARS
"Exo is better than BTS"
Bish no... BTS is bae
Also, when the peeps in the comment section throw shade and the comment section becomes a spam filled battle field. Like, stop!
Obsess over your bias or husbando somewhere else! Right here on Wattpad, consider commenting on the content and being traumatized by the content.
