I actually searched this topic up and boy am I surprised!
Though I have few questions, being your very own judgemental ass Asian grandmother who goes to community centers only to bad-mouth about other grannies.
Question # 1: why would a band adopt a horny 16 year old while they are amidst of multiple gigs and concerts etc?
Well, idk.
Even the peeps writing this just can't seem to answer it. Yeah, I went through few books cuz I am awesome... And apparently the reason for adoption is usually:
-cheap assistant
-someone who can cook or clean
-one of the band members is probably a pedo Smh
Question # 2: So how does the author write the members? I mean they are real people ace! You can't just assign them new personalities!
Uhm... Argh..uhm Anna *cough* After *cough* Todd. *Cough* shady *cough* hairy styles.
Okay enough coughing! And no hate toward Anna todd whose success indeed reflects in her work.
But back to the rant!
Mostly it's only one member and the MC who are going through the drama and the fifty shades of Wattpad while the other band members are just there for comic relief or support when the mc and the main guy fights.
80% time the main guy is hairy styles if it's a 1D fic.
60% times it's jungkook or jimin from BTS (they're just too adorable to be included in any book written by some horny fan)
Like literally! The rest of the band members are either fighting over the mc since magically now they all are shown the meaning of life by a confused ass quirky sixteen years old and now they've all turned into pedos unless the author decreases their age. Good!
Wattpad just blessed us with a love hexagon!

Though if rest of the members are kept for comic relief, you'd realise that they perfectly fit this equation:
Wattpad parents= unneeded band members
Yeah right! Their existence is same like those parents. The author-san will talk about them in the first chappie and then at the 53th chappie when they all would be feasting on food while the mc and the supposed "bad boy" band member are getting married.
Logical much?
