Hey there, someone somewhere!

Homegirl is back to wattpad since corona virus came and closed all the educational institutes in her country.

I still have exams to give tho, but honestly, idk when actually. Cuz everything is being delayed and even postponed. But lets not talk about that.

Lets talk about book covers which makes my cats do backflips.

1. Those with watermarks (Source: Shutterstock etc)

I get it that as an author you want the readers to appreciate every aspect of the picture you have chosen. But putting a heavily pixelated picture is perhaps an overkill. I mean... i don't see the need  to marvel at every bit and pixel that i see on the cover itself. Cuz i've reached a point where i cannot tell whether behind the facade of pixels, is there a shirtless guy or a hairless horse standing on two legs.

and talking about shirtless guys...

2. Shirtless guys (Source: Pornhub)

Atleast they have the decency to wear pants. Such covers often come equipped with a booty-ful female. Also the guy be looking at her just like i look at alfredo patsa (alfredo is best. Fight me.) I mean...

These sort of covers are also damn misleading. And eversince i got interested in the werewolf genre, i have come across 2 variants of the "shirtless guy" covers.

1. The pic is def from a smut-site but the story itself contains no flippity flappity and whatsoever (thankfully). But seeing the book's cover has certainly made my asian grandma disappointed and now my mum thinks i no longer deserve internet.

2.  Really innocent covers. But the story involves a couple that's screwing like rabbits. Plot twist: The girl never gets preggos.

3. Girl (Source: prolly pinterest or google images.)

Just a picture of a female with some text.

Editor used: MS Paint.

4. No covers (source: the cover prolly exists thanks to wattpad but....)

-But having your profile picture as  a blurry cover with comic sans text as title set default by wattpad never seemed better right?

And that's how children. You get 1M + views on your book.

Now excuse me while i go and commit not alive.
