Untitled Part 58

AMBER's POV

" To the most beautiful I've seen in my whole life, will you be my girl?" 

He opened the box and look at me. I can't express any emotion, because damn, I'm going crazy. I froze because, Vizhray Jasper Joaquin is kneeling in front of me...asking to be my man. 

The band stopped playing and there is a spot light on us.

I feel my hands are shaking because literally everyone is looking in us, but I'm more feeling crazy because of what he just said. Is he serious or is it a prank? 

I even notice that even our friends were shocked just as I am. Until now, Vj always makes me feel special and no one can make me feel this special just like he does, even my bestfriend, Vince, who just left me here right now.

This moment is so magical, like all of the memories we've gone through, each difficult times that he saved me, all the times he make me calm, laugh, smile, love, and special.

I'm still starring at him only with my half opened mouth as my reaction. Again, I can't move. The staffs are taking photos of us, as well as the business people. I'm nervous, I'm pressured, not because of all those, because I'm thinking of what should I do if I'm actually having a relationship with him--

" S--sorry, I shouldn't have done this." He stand up and close the box. That's when I realize that I'm starring at him for a long time already.

Is he seriously leaving but I--

I look at Grannie's direction, she just smiled and put her eyebrows up.

This time, I'm in myself. I'm no more floating in thoughts, I grab his wrist. I feel cold, but no Amber, pull yourself together. I breath heavily and chuckled. Thank God, he stop walking away from me.

" A-are you just turning your back on your girl?" I said, I stuttered, but believer me, I said it with my whole confidence.

Vj slowly turn to see me, I'm still holding his wrist. And I can't help not to smirk seeing his confused and shocked face.

"W-what did you say?" He said still confused. I love seeing him with that handsome confused face.

" Wala na, nasabi ko na." Nakangisi pa din ako, at kita ko ang unti-unting pagporma ng ngiti sa labi niya. Damn, I love that.

" Are you telling that you're my girl already?" He said in shy tone. Siguro hindi pa nagpa-process sa kanya ang sinabi ko, pero yung tingin niya talaga, nakakapanghina nalang sa sobrang kilig na pinapadama nito sakin, kanina pa, actually, always.

" Hmm.." I'm trying to tease him by making a thinking face, mas lumawak naman ang ngiti niya sa ginawa ko. Parang naliwanagan ang mukha niya sa sobrang saya.

My heart is trembling. 

" I love you." He said. I froze, again. I don't know why, because he always say that to me. But tonight, in this moment, it sounds one hundred times more beautiful. I know I want to hear him say that to me everyday, every night, every moment. That's my most favorite sound in the whole world.

This time, I wouldn't froze that long kasi baka mamaya talikuran niya na naman ako. I place my hands from his wrist, into my hands. I feel the electricity  flowing in us. I feel the butterflies in my stomach gone crazy. 

I smile, he always make me.

" I-I love you too.." Napapikit siya nang marinig ang sinabi ko habang nakangiti. Binitiwan niya ang mga kamay kong nakahawak at tumalikod sakin, napatalon siya sat isang malakas na " YES!!" ang narinig ko.
