Kurt's PoV
Bago ko pa sabihin ang plano na nasa isip ko ay may biglang nag doorbell, nagulat naman ako sa mabilis na pagtakbo ni Francis sa pinto at nagmura siya ng walang taong nakita sa labas. Napagtripan ata ang doorbell niya.
"Whoever the fuck you are, go to hell!"
Natawa na lang ako sa inasta niya, "Waiting for something?"
Hindi siya sumagot, may kung anong papel na pinulot siya sa sahig at binasa ito. Pinakita niya sakin ang papel, "This. This is my good morning death threat. Same handwriting, same sentences every 8 in the morning."
Lumapit ako sakanya at binasa ang nakasulat, "Ganito rin yung nakuha ni Xianna noon. When did you start receiving this kind of threats?"
Bumuntong hininga siya, "Let's sit first, I'm tired."
"There's nothing to be tired of," sabay kaming umupo sa sofa.
"It started after that day. Remember when my lolo shoot Alex?"
"Yes, what about it?" nagtatakang sagot ko.
"I was there."
"I know, you were with your friends," kumunot ang noo niya.
"How'd you know?"
"I was at the hospital."
Tumango siya, "I saw my lolo from afar, watching Alex and Travis. I intentionally hit my friend's face with a ball so my friends won't hear me talking to him. I called lolo through my phone then I told him that the cops is on their way and I'll let him escape, so he did."
"Why did you let him?" mahinahon kong tanong sakanya.
"I.. I was scared."
"Thank you."
Kumunot ang noo niya, "Why?"
"You did great."
Nag-iwas siya ng tingin, "I am receiving those because I helped Alex. Travis also received one, so that means he's also helping Alex."
"That's not surprising. What surprising is Xianna knows something about Alex' situation."
"And..she's helping. But in what way? She's too young."
"I don't know. Xiaon and Adrales teamed up, right?" tumango siya, "Then why are you receiving these threats, for fuck's sake you're an Adrales. Xiaon should be good to you."
"I helped Alex, he shouldn't be."
"Yeah, you did. But me, I ain't receiving anything even though I've been helping her for years."
"Then you're wrong. Xiaon isn't the one who's sending these threats."
I paused when realization hits me. Bullshit, "My asshole father."
"That sucks, he's watching everyone's movements."
"He and his guys are powerful than I fucking thought."
"No cussing my ass."
"I was surprised, who wouldn't cuss?" sarkastikong tanong ko.
"That's not surprising."
"He's silent about this for almost 2 years but he has plans and connections."
"So Alex is hunted by those three old man. Alex is no joke."
"As if Xiaon and Adrales can kill Alex."
Natigilan siya, "They can't?!"
"They are blood related."
