Jay's PoV
Mabilis kong nilapitan si Alex nang bigla siyang mapaluhod. I saw how she almost choked Nathan to death and I know she won't kill unprovoked.
"Calm down. Anong nangyari?" I calmly asked her while caressing her back. I stilled when our eyes met, I saw anger, pain and fear in her eyes. Hindi ko kinayang tagalan ang pakikipag titigan ko sakanya kaya nag-iwas agad ako ng tingin.
The last time I saw her like this was when she was about to kill Nathan's mother.
I am never afraid of anyone or anything, but I fear Alex when she's being agressive and violent. She knows how to kill, she knows who and when to kill people, but she won't stop herself if something triggered her really bad even if she knows killing can ruin her life.
"Patayin mo na 'ko! 'Yon naman ang gusto mo, 'di ba?! Ang ubusin ang buong pamilya ko?!"
Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Nathan na ngayon ay naghahamon na, "Shut up! You know nothing--" Mabilis kong hinawakan at hinigpitan ang kamay ni Alex nang bigla niyang 'dinukot ang cellphone mula sa bulsa niya. "Don't you dare call your goons without telling me your reason, Alex!"
"I.. I want him dead, Jay. Bitawan mo 'ko."
"No. Sabihin mo muna sa'kin kung anong ginawa ng lalakeng 'to sa'yo. I'll kill him myself for you if it's worth it."
"I want to see him dead first before seeing his dead, suffering or alive victims--"
Pareho kaming natigilan nang biglang dinukot na lang bigla si Nathan ng dumaan na van sa harap namin. I have never thanked anyone before, but I want to thank that van for getting that man out of Alex' reach.
Travis arrived with his car. "Sakay na, bilis!"
Tumayo ako pero nanatiling nakaluhod si Alex, wala nang emosyon sa mukha niya at diretso lang na nakatingin sa kawalan. Kahit anong titig ko ay hindi ko mabasa kung anong nasa isip niya.
Kapag gan'to siya, hindi ko talaga alam kung anong gagawin. I don't even know how to react in this situation, I know nothing. Hindi siya nagsasabi sa'kin.
Biglang bumaba si Travis sa sasakyan niya, gusto ko sana siyang pigilan sa pag lapit pero mukha siyang nagmamadali at mukhang alam niya kung anong dahilan kung bakit gan'to si Alex ngayon.
Travis is intently looking at her, magkapantay ang mukha nila ngayon. He is cupping Alex' face gently with his hand and I can't help but to feel jealous.
She will never let someone like Travis touch her.
"I know you are in pain behind your emotionless face right now. Sometimes, it's okay to show how you really feel but you have to be strong, Alex. Don't lose your hope, your friends will survive. They are as strong as you. C'mon, stand up."
I stilled when I heard him mention my friends.
There's no way Nathan managed to murder my friends-- holy fuck!
Agad na nag panic ang buong sistema ko nang mapagtanto ko kung bakit gan'to kagalit si Alex.
I'm sure as hell that Xianna is in danger!
I was about to pull Alex up when Alex slowly moved her feet to stand up, and Travis carefully guided her while holding her shaking hands.
I stared at a weak Alex in disbelief. The Alex that I knew will took you decade to show you her weakness. She prefers showing her aggressive side rather than her weak side. She could have shown me that she's in pain when I was the one holding her for a few minutes a while ago, but Travis only took seconds then she give in.
