"This was a bad idea- thiS WAS A BAD IDEA! Oh my god I'm going to die aren't I?"

"Relax Jeremy. It's just a date, not the Hunger Games" Christine reassures him as she puts away her curling iron.

"But it's not just a date though" Jeremy objects, sitting cross legged on his bed. He's only wearing a pair of pyjama bottoms as he still hasn't decided what to wear. "It's a date with my best friend. This could backfire so so so so so SO badly!"

"Jer, it's not going to backfire" Christine opens his wardrobe, examining the contents. "You like him and he likes you, end of"

"Yeah but-"

"No buts! We're gonna get you dressed" Christine pulls out shirts, t shirts, dress pants and other items from the closet. She throws them onto her half naked friend.
"Roller skating date- what are you wearing?"

WHAT DOES JEREMY WEAR?

Jeremy filters through the pile of clothes. God, Christine really picked out a weird variety. He finally lands on an outfit. (A/N I'll describe the outfit in the next chapter after you've all voted).

"How are you feeling, Jer?" Christine asks. She stands with her back to Jeremy as he puts on clothes.

"Like I'm going to vomit up a baby" he answers honestly.

"Save all your babies for after the date" Christine laughs. "You got a man to snatch"

"What do you even do on a date?"

"I don't know- suck him off?"

Micheal does a double take, raising an alarmed eyebrow at Rich.
"I'msorrywhatthefuck?"

"I don't know man" Rich shrugs defensively. "I've never gone on a date with a guy"

While Jeremy is being dolled up by Christine, Micheal is stuck with Jake and Rich. Their idea of date preparation involves pepperoni pizzas and flavoured condoms. Currently, the three boys sit around Micheal's kitchen table. The pizza box sits between them. Micheal fiddles with a crust.

"I'm not gonna lie to you, boyos" he sighs. '"I'm so scared that I'm going to fuck this up"

"Ahhh come on Mikey. Jeremy is head over heels for you" Rich reassures him, dunking a slice into garlic dip. "You could burn down his house and he would thank you" He chomps into his slice enthusiastically.

Jake watches in disgust before adjusting his attention to Micheal.
"Rich is dumb, but he's right. You guys are best friends; one bad rollerskating date wont change that"

"I guess" Micheal mutters. now isn't the time for insecurities, Micheal. He wipes his grease covered hands on a napkin, stepping back to show off his outfit to his friends.

"Okay guys, what do you think?"

WHAT DOES MICHEAL WEAR?

Rich strokes his chin.
"You could show more skin, but for the most part you look good"

"You look great, home slice" Jake reinforces.

Micheal puffs out a deep breath. He shakes his hands as he composes himself.
"Okay. Okay I'm gonna go pick him up. I'm gonna pick up my date. My best friend is my date. Okay"

"Okay maybe relax first" Jake interjects, holding Micheal's shoulders as he slows his breathing.

Micheal calms down. He takes a moment to look into Jake's brown eyes before smiling.
"Okay. Date time. I got this"

Jake claps him on the back. Micheal grabs his keys but is stopped before he can leave.
"Woah woah woah" Rich halts him, standing in the way of the door. "Don't forget your gift"

"My gift!" Micheal snaps his fingers. He steps back into the kitchen to get his present for Jeremy.
