Kevin had gotten everyone up and was currently taking care of Mitch, who could hardly move.
His entire body hurt, and his head was fuzzy and pounding, and everytime he moved, it send chills all over his body.
Kevin places a blanket over the smaller demigod and went to the kitchen, where Leigh and Avi were talking.
"He's sleeping now, but he's just getting worse, and I can't heal him." Kevin said, leaning against the counter.
"Why?" Avi asked as he sipped his coffee. His hair was in a messy bun and his eyes were tired.
"Probably because it's not a physically wound." Kevin rubbed his face.
Leigh came over and rubbed his back as she handed him a cup of coffee and kissed his cheek. "Good morning." She smiled.
Avi hid his smirk with his coffee cup.
"Good morning." Kevin replied, returning her smile.
Avi eared his throat and set his cup on the couter and leaned his torso forward, supporting himself with his arms.
"Its been three days. Tell me, we have a plan." He said, jumping right to it.
Kevin nodded...sort of. "I have pieces of a plan."
Avi gestured for him to talk.
"Mitch has been in Matt's...lair, on more than one occasion, and for a multitude of reasons. He knows the place. I was thinking if we could teleport, we could find them."
Leigh gave a hesitant chuckle. "Uh, theres a few issues with that."
Kevin looked at her.
"Well, 1) just because Mitch does, doesn't mean you two do. You two could die, if you don't know where you're going. And, 2) Mitch can't even move. Teleporting will kill him."
Avi sighed. "Any other ideas?"
"Nope." Kevin said, dropping his head with a sigh.
Avi nodded. "Great." He said, walking out the backdoor.
"Where are you going?" Leigh asked.
"To practice." He griped and slammed the door.
Leigh sighed. "You have to have another idea-."
"Ahh!"
Leigh and Kevin stood straight up and ran to the living room where Mitch, who's body was tense and shaking.
"Mitch." Leigh said, trying to gather his stuff body in her arms. "Hey, come on. You're okay."
His eyes snapped open and shone a light pink color, just as a tall pink whirlwind erupted in the middle of the room.
As it shrunk, it revealed the tall blond that was Scott, who looked like he was about to fall over, which he did, until Kevin swooped forward and caught him, and supported him.
"I guess we don't need a plan?" He said, looking at Leigh, who looked about as confused as Kevin felt.
Just as she was about to respond. A wall of water appeared, revealing Kirstie, who was looking around with a wild look.
Kevin took off his shirt and handed it to Kirstie so she would have some coverage.
She gratefully accepted it and slipped it over he head. "Thank you." She smiled.
"What happened?" Leigh asked, holding a groggy Mitch, who was snuggled into her chest.
"Kirstie's a bad bitch." Scott snorted.
Mitch perked up at the sound of Scott's voice.
Suddenly, he didn't care about anything that had happened between him and Scott. He was just glad Scott was okay.
He scrambled to his feet as sobs escaped from his lips and he latched onto Scott and held on for dear life.
Scott wrapped his arms around the boy and held him. "I am so sorry." He said, cupping Mitch's face.
Mitch couldn't speak. He was just thankful Scott and their baby were okay. He buried his face into Scott's chest and cried.
Avi sped back in once he heard Mitch wailing and stopped when he saw Kirstie.
He blinked a couple times before he came forward and wrapped his arms around her. Tears flooded his vision at the feeling of having her in his arms again.
He gave her a deep kiss before he said anything. "Are you okay?" He asked, looking over her, and placing a hand on her stomach.
Kirstie nodded with a smile. "We're okay." She sniffled and wrapped herself around him.
Mitch pulled back and looked Scott in his bright blue eyes, before grabbing Scott's face and pulling him in for a deep kiss.
Scott didn't pull back, but pulled Mitch closer to him, wrapping his arms around Mitch's waist, as their mouths moved in unison.
When they pulled apart, Mitch bent down and kissed Scott's stomach. "I love you, baby girl." He smiled then straightened up and looked at Scott again.
But words failed him. It was so easy for him to admit it when he's yelling at Leigh, why was he struggling now, when it mattered?
Scott wrapped his hand around Mitch's waist and held him against him.
"I love you." He said, to Mitch, rubbing his thumb along Mitch's jaw.
Fresh tears filled his eyes after hearing those three words for the first time ever.
"I love you, too." Mitch said with a smile, unable to fight his tears, and stood on his tip toes and kissed Scott once again.
Kevin, Avi, leigh, and Kirstie all looked at each other, each of them with a smirk.
Kirstie look at Leigh and chuckled. "Pride."
Leigh nodded with a smile. "Progress."
😭😭😭THINGS ARE OKAY AGAIN.
WHY DID IT TAKE SO FUCKING LONGGGGG?
