When Leigh finished bandaging all of Avi's wounds, she sent him to check on Mitch.
When Avi got out there, he saw Mitch on the floor, which wasn't where Avi put him.
"Mitch." Avi said, getting on his knees.
Mitch was shaking and his breathing was shallow. His face was covered in sweat and was pale.
"Uh, Leigh?" He called out, unsure of what to do.
"N-no." Mitch mumbled, still asleep. "Scott..."
Leigh and Kevin rushed into the living room to see Avi cradling Mitch in his arms, Mitch shaking and flinching.
Avi was gonna ask a question, but suddenly, Mitch's hand caught fire.
The orange flame shaped its self into a perfect sphere, and began to float out of his hand and through the ceiling as it flew off to where ever.
"Keep yourselves warm." Mitch said, his eyes still closed, early sleeping still.
Avi looked at the other two, then back down to Mitch, who was now stirring.
He took a deep breath and opened his eyes, seeing Kevin's friendly brown eyes staring at him. He gave a confused look.
"Why am I on the floor?" He asked, rubbing his eyes as he got out of Avi's arms and stood up.
"I was about to ask you the same thing." Avi said.
Mitch examined his elbow. "I must have fallen off somehow. My elbow hurts."
Kevin interjected. "Are you aware of anything you just did?" He asked.
Mitch shook his head. "I don't even remember my dream." He said, hugging himself. He felt sick. Like, feverishly sick.
Leigh tilted her head at him. "You feeling okay?" She asked.
He shook his head. "I don't feel good at all."
Leigh nodded. "Alright. Um, let's go to the kitchen." She said, grabbing his hand and guiding him to the table and having him sit down. He immediately laid his head on the table.
She rubbed small circles on his back before she went and pour him a cup of the tea she had made earlier. It was finished now, and was still steaming. She then put a little bit of milk and honey, the way she liked because the concoction just by itself was worse than awful, but it did the trick.
"Here." She said softly as she set the cup down next to him and rubbed his back again. "That'll make you feel better."
"What is it?" He asked, making a disgusted face as he looked in the cup.
"Its tea. Granted it's not very good tea, but it'll help, I promise."
Mitch kept the distasteful look as he picked up the cup to smell it.
Leigh stopped him. "It'll be better if you just...don't smell it."
Mitch raised his eyebrow and looked at the cup again. He raised it to his lips and took a small sip, which he immediately spit all over the table.
"Take that, awful, vile, foul, god forbidden beverage you got from Satan's dick, and get rid of it." He said, glaring at her as he held the cup out to her.
She crossed her arms and shook her head. "Nope. Down it."
"I am not putting that monstrosity in my body." He said as he put the cup on the table.
"And you're not going anywhere until you do."
Mitch's jaw dropped. "You can't do that."
Leigh nodded. "You're in my house, so yes, I can."
Mitch scoffed. "You bitch." He chuckled, then looked at the cup with the same disgusted expression. With a sigh, and knowing he wasn't getting out of this, he shot a glare at Avi, who raised his eyebrow and turned to Kevin, who just rolled his eyes.
He picked up the cup, and took a deep breath, followed by a long exhale, then he downed the whole thing.
When he finished, he opened his mouth wide and stuck out his tongue as far as he could, showing he drank it all. Y'know, for dramatic affect.
Leigh smiled. "Thank you."
"Yeah, whatever." He mumbled, before walking off.
Avi couldn't help but chuckle. This whole thing just astounded him. Mitch didn't listen to anyone except Scott and Leigh, it seemed.
Leigh threw a snowball at him, hitting him right in his Adam's apple, causing him to choke and fall back against the fridge, holding his throat, eventually sliding down the fridge as he coughed.
Kevin cackled, having to lean against the counter for support.
Avi, who was dying on the ground, felt like he would cough up a lung, if he coughed any harder.
"Reflexes, Curly! We walked about this two hours ago." She laughed.
When he recovered enough to breathe, he got to his feet and was in front of her in less than a blink. He wanted to say so many things to her, that he couldn't say anything.
Leigh booped his nose with an innocent smile. "We need to work on that, juuuuuus a lil." She said, indicating a measurement with her fingers.
Avi growled and forced himself to just walk away, and not throw her through a wall.
"Fuck you, Elsa." He snarled as he left the kitchen.
Leigh snorted and looked at Kevin, who started laughing so hard he slid down the counter and was on his side, leigh doing the same on the wall.
"FUCK ALL OF YOU!" Avi yelled.
Even Mitch was laughing. He was sitting on the couch when he'd seen what happened, and he'd been holding his stomach because he was laughing so hard.
Avi slammed the bathroom door, making everyone start laughing all over again.
It's short, but I needed something at least funny lol.
I love the dynamic Avi and Leigh have.
Also, let's talk about how many times I've caught my self trying to write Curly instead of Avi🤣🤣
Anyway, I like it and I hope y'all do to.
Love y'all❤
