The rest of the day was relatively quiet, since no one was talking to anyone. Kirstie spent the day cuddle up with Scott watching movies with him on his phone.

Mitch was off in his corner, glaring at her.

Avi was in the corner listening to music, thinking about Kirstie and their baby.

Kevin was just ignoring everybody. There was a lot of tension and he actually hated it, so he dove into a book.

There was that little voice again in his head. He could make out anything that was being said, but he still could hear it.

And it got louder when ever he looked at Mitch.

Then he heard a second voice, one more insecure and innocent. It sounded like the two were having an argument. It really irritated him that he could make out what was being said.

He looked over at Mitch again and saw that he looked like he was about to cry.

Mitch felt eyes on him and snapped his head in Kevin's direction.

"Can I help you?" He said. That cold feeling was back, yet again.

"Let's go outside." He said calmly.

Mitch looked at him. What did Kevin want? Kevin hardly talked to him anymore.

"O...kay." he said slowly, getting up and following the dark-skinned demigod.

Once they were outside and a distance away from the room, Kevin turned.

"I want you to cut the act." He said, straight to the point.

Mitch didn't respond for a second. Kevin knew. Of course he did. Stupid genius.

"What act?" Mitch said.

"This whole thing. There's been something off ever since you got back."

"Maybe it's because I keep almost dying, or keep getting attacked. Or maybe, it's the fact that I have a daughter before I have a permit."

"You keep throwing the same excuses out as a defense, Mitch. It's been almost three months. There's something else. Something your hiding."

"I'm not hiding anything." Mitch said defensively.

"I'm not stupid, Mitch. I can see it. All the death glares at Kirstie, all the rude remarks and comment made to and about Kirstie. Theres something wrong, and until I figure it out, you no longer have my trust."

Mitch looked at him and chuckled. "You think I care if you trust me? Kevin, I don't need you. I don't need any of you. I've been alone my entire life." He stopped himself and took a deep breath. "My point is that you trusting me or me trusting you, is irrelevant to anything that is going on. My only priority is my daughter and making sure she's safe."

"So, the rest of us don't matter?"

"Why should you matter to me? I never mattered to any of you!"

"Mitch-."

"No." He put his hand up. "We're done with this conversation."

He moved his hand and a rock came flying at Kevin's head, hitting him, and knocking him out.

Mitch smirked as he walked back into the room.

"Hey." Scott said. "Where's Kevin?"

Mitch smiled. "He went for a walk. Said he'd be back later and not to follow him."

"Oh. Okay"

Mitch nodded and sat down.

"I do have another side, if you wanna lay with me." Scott offered.

Mitch looked at Kirstie, who had fallen asleep with her hand pressed to her stomach.

Mitch decided not to glare, since Scott was looking at him and nodded with a smile. "Oki." He said, cutely.

He came over and snuggled into Scott's side and placed his hand on Scott's stomach, leaning forward and kissing the bump.

"Daddy loves you, Baby Girl." He said lovingly, truly caring about his daughter.

Scott smiled and kissed Mitch's head when he leaned back, earning him a genuine smile from the brunette.

"Are you really okay?" Scott asked softly.

Mitch nodded. "I'm okay, Baby."

"Whoa, where's this "Baby" coming from?" Scott chuckled.

"That depends on which baby you mean."

Scott chuckled. "I know where that baby came from, silly. I mean...you called me "Baby"."

"I did."

"W...why?"

Mitch shrugged. "I wanted to."

Scott nodded. "Ooooh." He smirked. "Is there anything...esle...you wanna do?"

Mitch smiled. "I can think of a couple."

"Like...?"

Mitch looked at him. "Can I kiss you?"

Scott smiled. "I think that can be arranged." He felt Mitch cup his face and his lips press against Mitch's.

The brunettes lips were softer than Scott remembered. It was a soft and simple and gentle kiss, and Scott loved it.

Mitch, on the other hand, was getting excited. He pulled back and shifted. "Christ." He gripped, moving his legs to hide his growing boner. "Sorry."

Scott just chuckled. He kept forgetting that Mitch was just 16. Hormones were all over the place still.

"Don't worry." Scott said, giving Mitch a squeeze.

"Oh, don't do that." Mitch warned.

Scott just laughed. "Gotta love hormones, am I right?"

Mitch laughed. "Oh, yeah, I love the random boners." He rolled his eyes.

Mitch kissed Scott's stomach a final time before snuggling down into Scott's side with his hand pressed against Scott's stomach.

"Good night, Mitchy." Scott said.

Mitch smiled at the name, but cold overcame him, making him shiver.

Scott noticed the quick change in Mitchs body temperature and made a mental note of it.

Mitch just snuggled. "Good night, Scotty."
