"There are way to many people here, Sam." Kevin said, practically hugging himself.
"Will you calm down? It'll be fine."
"Will it?" Kevin asked, his voice cracking.
Sam just chuckled.

"Kirst!" Esther called, drinks in her hand. She didn't know where Kirstie had went off to.
The music was loud, and was actually good. Esther was just waiting for Alex and Avi to show up, because she wanted to have some fun in the bushes with Alex.
Kirstie was standing alone looking out at the ocean. She turned around quickly only to bump into someone, causing him to spill his drink.
"Oh, shit!" She said. "I'm so sorry." She pulled the napkin she had out of her pocket and tried to clean him off.
"Its fine." He said, clearly irritated.
"Obviously, its not." Kirstie stated. "I can practically feel your irritation. Just let me help."
"I said its fine!" He snapped. Just as he did, something off in the distance caught fire.
Kirstie just looked at him, finally seeing what he looked like: tall (at least to her, she was short), his skin was somewhere between pale and tan, he had simple make-up, and he was wearing all black.
She held out her hand. "Kirstin." She smiled
He just stared at it, not quite knowing what to do. He looked up tentatively. "Mitchell." He said shyly. He wasn't good with socializing. Joshua disappeared with some girl, which left him by himself.
"Are you gonna shake my hand or am I just gonna stand here looking like an idiot?" Kirstie asked, nodding towards her hand
Mitch just cleared his throat. Why was he still standing here? He was about to say something, but decided against it and walked off.
Kirstie scoffed and dropped her hand. "Well, that was rude." She mumbled.
"What was rude?" Esther said, still holding the drinks. It took her forever to find where Kirstie went.
"I don't know. I bumped into this guy and then he walked off." Kirstie waved in the general direction. "Dickhead."
"Did he say anything?" Esther handed her one of the drinks.
"His name, but not much else. I got a really creepy vibe from him."
"What was his name?"
"Mitchell. Though, I don't know anyone that goes by that at school."
Esther pondered for a moment. "What did he look like?" She asked after a few seconds.
"He was taller. Like your brothers height-"
"My brother has a name, you know that right? You've known me for pretty much our whole lives." Esther chuckled.
Kirstie rolled her eyes. "He's about Avi's height, kinda pale, kinda not, had make up, and was wearing all black."
"Ohhhhh, you mean Mitch? Yeah, he does that a lot."
"Does what?"
"The whole dark and mysterious thing. He doesn't really interact with anyone. Like, ever."
"Well, still. That was rude, just walking off like that."
"Cut him a break. I hear he's got it pretty rough at home. I've seen bruises in the past."
