Mitch couldn't help but bust out laughing. "The Gods? Like, the Greek Gods?"

"Yes." Zeus said, not finding it funny. "And these are your parents." He opened his arms to signal the other Gods to step forward. "Aphrodite, Ares, Apollo, Poseidon, and Hades."

"Saving the best for last, I see." Hades laughed, earning a glare from Zeus.

"Why are we here?" Kevin said, getting to the point.

"Let us start with introductions first, shall we?" Zeus said, ignoring Kevin's questions. "Gods, claim your children."

"Claim?" Kirstie said. "We aren't property..." She trailed off when a blue trident with water swirling around it appeared above her head.

"Kirstin, Daughter of Poseidon." Zeus said.

"This is crazy." She said in awe. She tried to reach up and touch it, but it vanished. She looked back down and stared at the man that had stepped forward.

"Avriel, can you step forward please?" Zeus said, turning to Avi, who took a tentative step forward.

He was about to say something about how crazy this was when he felt something was over him and he looked up to see a red symbol of swords crossing.

"Son of Ares." Zeus proclaimed.

"Well, that explains why he's such a dick." Mitch mumbled, earning an elbow to the ribs from Scott, who mumbled for him to shut up.

Kevin looked at both Avi and Kirstie. Reasons for their actions finally having an answer. He felt something and looked up. A old greek harp, or lyre, floated above his head, surrounded by a yellow light. The color resembled sunlight

"Son of Apollo."

"Woah." Was all Kevin could say.

"Scott." Zeus said.

Scott snapped his head to look at the god. "Yes?"

Zeus made a motion for him to step forward, so he did. He saw a floating pink heart above his head and looked back at the only god he figured it could've been.

"Son of Aphrodite."

Aphrodite smiled proudly at him. "My sweet boy." She said.

Scott didn't know what to think about all this. This had to be a dream...right?

"And finally, Mitchell." Zeus said.

Mitch didn't want to move. He was the only one that wasn't claimed yet and there was only one god left. It just so happened to be the god that the rest of them didn't like.

He felt his hands catch fire and jumped back in fear, trying to get away, with no luck, obviously.

He looked up and saw a black skull surrounded by flame.

"Son of Hades." Zeus finished.

"Hmm, go figure." Mitch started. "The god that no one likes as my father? Fitting. It explains why everyone hates me." He glared at the God of Death.

"Ouch." Hades mocked, pretending to care.

Mitch just glared.

"There is a reason you five are here." Zeus said, interrupting.

"And that is?" Mitch sassed.

"It is up to the five of you to save the world."
