"NO!" Mitch yelled as he jolted awake, bolting straight up.

This scared Scott so bad the when he jumped he fell onto the floor.

He groaned as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and pushed himself to his feet. He looked and saw that Mitch was having what looked like a panic attack.

Scott rushed around the bed and made sure Mitch was looking at him. "Mitch, take deep breaths, okay. Match me." He grabbed Mitch's hand and placed it on his own chest, showing Mitch how to breathe.

Mitch already hated this whole demigod thing. He was surprised that nothing caught fire. He didn't even remember his dream, he just knew it was awful.

After a few minutes, he was calm enough to hold a small conversation. "What happened?" He frantically looked around. He didn't recognize the room he was in. "Where am I?" He made eye contact with Scott. "And why are you here?"

Scott had to force back a chuckle. The look on Mitch's face was both cute and hilarious.

"How much do you remember?" He asked instead.

Mitch shook his head. "I don't know. I had this super weird dream that we were like...demigods or something."

Scott pursed his lips and shook his head. "That wasn't a dream, Mitch."

Mitch looked at him like he was crazy. "No. No, it had to be. I-we...we can't be. Its not possible. The Greek Gods aren't real. That's why its called Mythology. The Gods are mythological."

Scott shook his head again. "Its very real, Mitch. Look at your hand." He nodded down to the boys hand that was holding a fire ball.

"Ah!" Mitch said, trying to jump away from the appendage. He looked up at scott with wide eyes. "What do I do?"

"Focus. Take a deep breath and relax. Our powers are tied to our emotions, so just calm down."

Mitch nodded and looked at his hand. It was weird, that even though he could feel the fire and the heat of it, it wasn't hurting him. He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled and watched as the flame diminished until it was gone.

"Woah." He said, staring at his hand, bringing the other one forward to examine them. He couldn't wrap his head around it, so he changed the subject.

"How did I get here?" He looked to Scott. "The last thing I remember is walking with everyone."

Scott scratched the back of his head and chuckled. "I kinda carried you. You, like, passed out mid-step and fell to the ground. I picked you up."

"Oh." Mitch said, ignoring the blush that he knew was showing on his face. That is so embarrassing. "Thank you." He said slowly.

Scott nodded as his phone went off. He answered it and put it on speaker. "Hello?"

"Hey!" They heard Kirstie say. "I didn't know if you guys were awake or not and I didn't wanna just barge in. We're all awake and in the living room."

"Okay." Scott said. "One question though. How did you get my number?"

"I'm friends with Tyler." She said simply.

"Oh. Okay. We'll be there in a minute."

"Okay! Oh, and there's food. My mom though everyone would be hungry."

"Okay, thanks." He hung up and looked to Mitch. "Looks like were going to the living room."

Mitch nodded, but hesitantly got out of the bed. Of everyone was here, that meant Avi was. He didn't want to be around Avi.
